Faithful in the face of the coming crisis

Dr. Roberto Miranda
(Audio: Spanish)

SUMMARY: The speaker discusses the importance of Christians projecting and reflecting the spirit of generosity, tolerance, and love in the face of political and social challenges. They highlight the division in the United States and how the issue of slavery still affects the country today. The speaker emphasizes the need for Christians to not conform to the culture of the world but to transform themselves through the renewal of their understanding in the word of God. They caution against taking our coordinates and points of reference from the world around us, including intellectuals, media, and culture. The speaker also warns of the dangers of man messing with God's design genetically, biologically, and morally, as it can lead to destruction in all dimensions. They stress the importance of guidance from the word of God for all, including scientists and doctors.

The speaker highlights the importance of having a solid spiritual foundation in times of cultural confusion and chaos. He draws examples from history, such as Germany during World War II and Japan during their conquests, where nations allowed themselves to be hypnotized by a demonic spirit and commit atrocities against humanity. He warns against being swayed by the ethics of this world, devoid of human and divine wisdom, and emphasizes the need for Christians to be informed about the word of the Lord and apply its teachings to their lives. The speaker also discusses current societal issues, such as the legitimation of gender reassignment surgeries for young children, and emphasizes the importance of Christ in taming the beast within every human being.

The speaker discusses the dangers of the current cultural climate, including the normalization of transgender operations on young children. He calls on the church to sound the alarm and declare the truth of God, rather than being influenced by secular media. He warns that difficult times are coming and urges the church to strengthen its foundations and prepare for spiritual warfare. The speaker calls for prayer for children, youth, the church, and the nation, and asks for a visitation of God's spirit to transform the hearts and minds of believers.

The speaker prays for God's mercy and power to help the congregation remain faithful to God's principles amidst the enemy's attacks. They ask for forgiveness and purification of impurities and Babylonian mantles in their lives. The congregation is blessed and invited to give their lives to Christ for protection and salvation. The speaker declares the lordship of Christ over the city and nation, and asks for a wave of God's power to be unleashed upon the people. They thank God for his grace and power and seal the prayer in Jesus' name.

What should be the spirit that we Christians should project and reflect in the face of the great questions and the great challenges that lie ahead in this nation? How should we face the political and social events and issues that are affecting our country? If we are well informed, well instructed, then we can be good witnesses, good teachers, when people ask us. And we can also protect ourselves from any attitude or any behavior that is not the exact behavior that God wants us to have.

The word of the Lord informs us about how we should walk in this time. The Bible says, we have a great cloud of witnesses around us and they are not only the witnesses of those characters who preceded us in the Bible and historically, but also in society, a world that wants to know how we face the challenges of this time. , how the church behaves before the questions raised by the circumstances of our time.
