The mighty God and his people

Dr. Roberto Miranda
(Audio: Spanish)

SUMMARY: The Church of Jesus Christ is founded on an unshakable foundation, Christ Jesus, giving us the right to be optimistic and positive about the future. The Church has authority and dominion over the Earth, and God's historical project is to bring the world to the recognition that Jesus Christ is Lord. The world may be moving further away from God, but we should never be discouraged by what we see, instead filling ourselves with hope and joy. The Church has always emerged victorious in every situation, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

The Church is going through a difficult time, but we should not lose hope because God is still in control. Sometimes the Church needs to go through times of struggle and affliction in order to be pruned and strengthened. It is important to have a positive perspective on what God is doing in the world and in our city. We should anchor ourselves to the Word of God and proclaim the Truth with humility. Despite the challenges, God is still doing wonderful things all around the world, and we should keep our faith in Him.

The Church is going through a stormy time, but we must hold firm to what God has promised for our lives. We are like the disciples in the boat, battling against the wind and the waves, but the Lord is with us and will come to us at the right time. We must trust in His plan and His sovereignty. The best is ahead for the Church of Jesus Christ, and we must be committed to working for the Lord. We must not compromise the Gospel and must stand firm in the Truth and love of God.

The speaker blesses the audience and encourages them to not compromise their faith or the Gospel. They ask God to strengthen those going through difficult situations and break chains of addiction. They ask for forgiveness and renewal of strength and vision. They ask for God to pour out blessings on the community and for them to be useful for His work. The speaker concludes by giving glory and honor to God.

I want to talk about the mighty God who is moving in the midst of his people. Many people have a message as they say of "doom and gloom", of pessimism for the Church and certainly many of the things that are happening in the world would seem to invite us to be pessimistic and to stop seeking God's favor and to become conservative in the way we live the Gospel but it is the opposite. God wants us to live aggressive and confident lives, amen? that we live believing that He still has his best ahead of him.

What's more, I could change the topic of the sermon. This morning I said that the theme was: The irresistible power of the Church, the irresistible power of the Gospel but I could also call it: The best is ahead, amen? the best is ahead for His people and I want to possess your mind with this idea that you move in a spirit, in a favor, in an intention of God the Creator of the universe that gives you every right to be optimistic, to be hopeful, to believe that God has good things for your life, be it on an individual level, your family, your children, your health or also on the level of the Church of Jesus Christ in general, but think this morning about the irresistible power of Gospel and the Church of Jesus Christ.
