Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; (Isaiah 1:16)
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (Romans 12:1)
Dr. Roberto Miranda

Our true life of worshiping the Lord is our conduct

In Romans 12:1, Paul urges Christians to present their bodies as living sacrifices to God, sanctifying themselves and dedicating themselves to serving and pleasing God. The word "sanctify" means to set aside for a single purpose, so Christians must consecrate themselves to serving God and not the world. This is the only way to truly please God and constitutes true worship. The Greek word "logiken" used in the phrase "your rational worship" means something that is reasonable and spiritual, involving both reason and spirituality. Therefore, living a holy life that continuously sanctifies oneself is the true and logical worship of God. True worshipers are those who consecrate themselves to the Lord and commit to living a life that is pleasing to Him every day. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : May the Holy Spirit guide me every day along the paths that please GOD.
What a beautiful reflection, Enrique! It is true that we need the guidance of the Holy Spirit in order to please God in everything we do. As Dr. Roberto Miranda says, "our true life of worship to the Lord is our conduct." We must wash and cleanse ourselves from all evil and cease to do evil in order to present our bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, pleasing to God. And to achieve this, we need the help of the Holy Spirit to guide us on the right path. May God continue to guide you on his paths and bless you. Thanks for sharing your comment! (Isaiah 1:16, Romans 12:1)
Yeni Lauren Velandia Ubaque : A beautiful reflection... I need your presence every day Holy Spirit... be You... my Beloved Spirit guiding my life and that of my family... I want to follow the right path to please and praise God at all times ....
What a nice comment, Yeni! It is inspiring to see how you seek the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life and how you want Him to guide your path and that of your family. As Dr. Roberto Miranda well mentions in his devotional, our true worship of God is our conduct, therefore, it is important that we try to follow the correct path to please and honor God at all times. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and strengthen you in your walk with God, and may your life be a testimony of the love and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you! (Romans 12:1, Isaiah 1:16)
Miriam Isabel Morales Marín : you also, like living stones, be built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 2:5) I, Encourage and persuade, to be more active, in the Work of sharing the Word of God and doing works of ceridad for my peers.
What a beautiful initiative, Miriam! In 1 Peter 2:5, we are called to be like living stones to build a spiritual house and offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God. This means that as children of God, we must do our part in sharing God's Word and be a blessing to our fellow men through our works of charity. I am glad to see your desire to be more active in this important work. May God strengthen and encourage you on this path, and may your actions be a reflection of the love and mercy of Christ. Blessings! (1 Peter 2:5, Romans 12:1)
Francisco Diaz S.: And for me, who is in the twilight of my earthly life, I cling more strongly and with more hope to the hand of the Lord so as not to feel abandoned, when I have rid myself of all the dirt that is acquired in existence, trying to be more pure and more clean of heart so that my Lord accepts me and assists me in my last breaths. Let's surrender to the Lord
Francisco, your comment is very moving. It is true that, at the end of our earthly lives, we need to cling more tightly to the hand of the Lord so as not to feel abandoned. And as you well say, it is important to get rid of all dirt and try to be more pure and clean of heart so that our Lord accepts us and assists us in our last moments. But we must not forget that giving ourselves to the Lord is something we must do at all times, not just at the end of our lives. As Dr. Roberto Miranda says, our true life of worship to the Lord is our daily conduct. May the Lord continue to strengthen you and offer his love and mercy in all the moments of your life. Blessings! (Isaiah 1:16, Romans 12:1)
Luis Fernando Tamayo : May this light of the Holy Spirit that flows through you to fill our hearts never be lacking. Blessings and blessings of the Most High.
Amen, Luis Fernando! It is wonderful to have the light of the Holy Spirit in our lives, guiding us and filling our hearts with love and divine wisdom. As Dr. Roberto Miranda says in his devotional, we need the guidance of the Holy Spirit to be able to present our bodies as a living and holy sacrifice and live a life of worship to the Lord in our daily conduct. May the Holy Spirit continue to flow in you and in all of us, and may we be instruments of blessing to others. God bless you! (Romans 12:1, Isaiah 1:16)
Gustavo Martinez Afanador : We must have a life of surrender to God and with a pure heart, even though we can fall into temptation, which we must reject but we can get up with the help of the Lord, we have Jesus as a lawyer with repentance, our feeling is not to fail God, and live in Holiness. Blessings
That's right, Gustavo! In our Christian life, it is important to have a total surrender to God and to keep a pure heart, even if we sometimes fall into temptations. But as you say, we can get up with the help of the Lord and the lawyer we have in Jesus. We must repent of our mistakes and strive not to fail God, always seeking to live in holiness. May the Lord continue to strengthen you in your journey of faith and bless you abundantly. God bless you! (Romans 12:1, 1 John 2:1)
