And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away. (1 Kings 19:10)
But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. (Romans 11:4)

It is true, as Alberto González Muñoz mentions in his devotional, many times we feel alone and discouraged in our faith, but God always has a faithful remnant of people who have not distanced themselves from Him. As the verse he quotes says, "I I HAVE RESERVED SEVEN THOUSAND MEN WHO HAVE NOT BOWED THE KNEE TO BAAL." (undefined 11:4). Let us continue to trust God at all times, knowing that He is always with us and has a perfect plan for our lives. Hallelujah, amen!
