Indeed, as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, the Lord calls us to be his messengers and take his Word to those who still do not know it.
As the Bible says, "the poor are preached the gospel" (Luke 7:22) and we as Christians have the mission of sharing the good news to all people, regardless of their social or economic condition.
May the Lord give us the strength and wisdom to be faithful to this call and bring his love and salvation to all those around us.

You are absolutely right, the apostles were faithful messengers of God and gave their lives to preach the Word. And today, as Christians, we are also called to bring that same message to all the people around us, as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional: "Here I am; send me."
As the Bible says, "go and tell John what you have seen and heard" (Luke 7:22), we must share with our friends and colleagues what God has done in our lives and how he has transformed our way of living. In this way, we can lead others to know God and his infinite love.

I completely share your analogy, as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, Jesus Christ is the immense boat on which we must cling to in order to overcome the tribulations and anguish of this world. And as Christians, we have a responsibility to help those who have not yet found that boat to get on it and meet our Savior.
As the Bible says, "the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor are preached the good news" (Luke 7:22). We must follow the example of Jesus and bring his love and salvation to all those who need it.

It really is a blessing to wake up every day with a message of hope and remember the goodness of our God. And as you mention, it is important that as Christians, we set an example for our family and all the generations that surround us, so that they can also know the love and salvation of God.
