As you well mention, love for God is the first and foremost commandment of God's law, as Jesus affirmed in Mark 12:30, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your might." When we put God at the center of our lives and love him with all of our being, he blesses us and guides us in the path we should follow. And as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas also mentions in his devotional, "God blesses those who seek him."
