I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. (Psalm 130:5)

What a beautiful reflection, Enrique! Faith is the key to waiting on the Lord, and Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas reminds us of this in his devotional when he says: "I hope in the LORD; my soul hopes in Him, and I have my hope in His word." (Psalm 130:5) If we keep our faith in the Lord, we can be sure that He will fulfill his promises in us. Furthermore, as the apostle Paul mentions in Romans 5:5, "And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us." May the love and hope of God always be present in our lives!

(Psalm 130:5) It is in God where we find our true hope, although sometimes the answers do not come immediately or things do not happen as we expected. But as you mention, the gospel teaches us to trust God and put our faith in Him, knowing that He has a perfect plan for our lives and that He is always with us.
