The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. (Deuteronomy 29:29)
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2 Timothy 3:16)

We were not designed to work apart from God

Just like household appliances, we were designed for a specific purpose, and ignoring our instruction manual (the Bible) can lead to technical malfunctions that make us useless. We need to cling to God every day to fulfill our purpose and avoid irreparable damage. But luckily, the manual has solutions for every malfunction, and seeking God's help can fix the problems. It's better to read the manual on time than to risk expensive repairs later. Read more...

Dear Enrique, it is very edifying to read your comment regarding the devotional by Milagros García Klibansky. As you mention, working clinging to God leads us to great results. As she quotes in Deuteronomy 29:29, there are things that are secret and belong to the Lord, but there are also things that are revealed to us and belong to us forever, to keep his commandments and walk in his will. Furthermore, as mentioned in 2 Timothy 3:16, all Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, correcting, and instructing in righteousness. Therefore, working in union with God and seeking his guidance in his Word will always lead us on the right path. May the Lord continue to bless you on your journey of faith.

In Deuteronomy 29:29 we are reminded that there are things that are secret and belong to the Lord, but there are others that are revealed to us so that we can walk in his way. That's why it's so important to stay in tune with God, read and meditate on his Word, and seek his direction in prayer. As Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path." May God continue to bless and guide you in your walk with him.
