And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. (Genesis 3:13)
I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. (Romans 7:21)
Dr. Roberto Miranda

We have to identify the areas of our life that are not addressed by God

In Romans 12, the apostle Paul calls us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice. The word "bodies" refers not only to our biological aspect but also to everything that has to do with our human nature, including our psychology, will, memories, intelligence, emotions, and more. Unlike the spirit, which is the higher part of our being, the body is the part that interacts with the world and can be in conflict with God's purposes. Therefore, we must continually bring our flesh to the Lord and ask Him to deal with it and make it an instrument for His holiness and justice. This involves identifying the areas of our life that are not addressed by God and presenting them to Him in prayer, fasting, confession, and more. By doing this, we can become a living sacrifice for God's glory. Read more...

Marion: The Lord bless you always... you are an infinite blessing for my life 🙏... eternal thanks because every morning I receive bread...
Hello Marion! It is very beautiful to read how God has used Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional to bless your life. As he mentions in his text, it is important to recognize the areas of our lives that have not yet been dealt with by God and turn them over to Him. That being said, I share what Romans 7:21 says "So, wanting to do good, I find the law that evil is present in me". Sometimes we strive to do good, but find that sin is still present in us. That is why we need Jesus and his work on the cross to free us from sin and guide us to a life of holiness. Blessings!

Hello Leonardo! What a joy to know that Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional has been a blessing to your life and that it has motivated you not to neglect prayer. In the text of Genesis 3:13, we can see how the woman acknowledges her sin and accepts the consequences of her actions. Likewise, we too must recognize our faults and seek the salvation that only Christ can offer us. May this message encourage us to continue in the presence of God and to bring the message of salvation to those who do not yet know it. Blessings!
Yda Urrutia. : We thank the Lord for his word that every day shows us and teaches us the Wisdom that is God and thus we know Him, and we can walk in His will...
Hello Yda! Love your comment. In the text of Romans 7:21, the apostle Paul mentions that although we want to do good, many times we face the sin that dwells in us. We cannot overcome sin on our own, but we can seek the wisdom that comes from God and is found in His Word. By knowing more about God and his will, we can walk in his presence and fight against sin with the help of his Holy Spirit. God bless you!
Liliana Manríque : What a nice reflection
Hello Liliana! I am glad that you enjoyed the reflection of Dr. Roberto Miranda. In the text of Genesis 3:13, we see how the woman acknowledges her sin and accepts the consequences of her actions. Francisco Diaz S.: Good morning, beloved congregation.- We are waging a battle within our being, a spiritual battle in our minds and against our human tendencies that incite us to evil. Only by walking in the name of the Lord and with our mind set on God will we be able to overcome our weaknesses.- God with us
Hello Francisco! I completely agree with you. In the text of Romans 7:21 mentioned by Dr. Roberto Miranda, the apostle Paul tells us about the internal fight we have against sin. As you say, it is a spiritual battle that we can only overcome with the help of God and his Holy Spirit. We must have our mind set on Him and walk in His name, in order to overcome our weaknesses and live a life of holiness. God bless you!
Gustavo Martinez Afanador : We are born with human nature, sinful with a tendency to sin, but when we arrive at the feet of CHRIST we change our thoughts and crucify him so that the Lord takes our weaknesses and submits them to the Holy Spirit, we must put our lives in integrity to God. Blessings
Hello Gustavo! Thanks for your comment. As you well say, we are all born with sinful human nature and a tendency to sin. But thanks to Christ and his sacrifice on the cross, we can crucify our old nature and be transformed by the Holy Spirit. We must put our lives in integrity before God and seek to live in holiness, for which it is important to have a renewed mind in the Word of God. God bless you!
