The church's commitment to the mission of Jesus Christ

Andrés Cisterna
(Audio: Spanish)

SUMMARY: The speaker reflects on the true meaning of Christmas and the mission of Jesus Christ. He emphasizes that the Spirit of the Lord is upon all believers and that the church's commitment is to preach good news and bring healing, liberation, and restoration to those in need. The speaker encourages believers to recognize their power and authority through the Holy Spirit and to be the source of power in their communities. He references Acts chapter 2 as an example of believers who were impacted by the Holy Spirit and brought about great change in their city.

The mission of the church is to be impacted by the power of the Holy Spirit and to share the message of Jesus Christ with authority and conviction. This was seen in the book of Acts when Peter spoke to a crowd of thousands and converted many. When the Holy Spirit is present, it brings unity, signs, and wonders to the church. We should all seek the anointing of the Holy Spirit in our lives and continue to share the good news of salvation. The Spirit of the Lord is calling us to receive this anointing and fulfill the mission of Jesus here on earth. We should never stop seeking more of the Holy Spirit's power and authority in our lives.

There is a song that they were singing a few moments ago, Lord, let's see if it's true, we don't want your blessings but you, and I suppose that each one of us understood what he was singing, more than the melody of the song, very soft , very special, we are saying to the Lord, Lord, it doesn't matter what may happen to us, it doesn't matter what we lack, the persecution doesn't matter, the scarcity doesn't matter, only You matter to us, only You are important, only You are my God , only You are powerful, the one who created the heavens and the earth, for Him there is nothing impossible, and for the one who believes everything is possible. How many give glory to God for that? Give glory to God, don't worry.

Some have to remember their roots of the glories to God and those things, and those hallelujahs, and those amen, because our God is more powerful, He is our mighty God. I am happy to be here today, and I thank God for the confidence of the pastors in allowing me to spend some time with you, and I want to invite you to open your Bible to the book of Luke chapter 4, verse 18 and 19. Book of Saint Luke, the gospel of Saint Luke, one of the gospels in the new testament, chapter 4 verses 18 and 19. The truth is that we are in a month in which everything is reflection, in the month of December after Saint Turkey dies, the last Thursday of November, the month of December is coming and everything is reflection, we all reflect on whether we have done things well or not, and we already begin to make the list of what we did not do and that maybe in a month we could do what we didn't do in a year, or maybe we could make the list of what to do in the next year, besides that it is a subject for reflection because we somehow remember the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that is like a world event, only sometimes we forget that He already born!.
