Do you stand for the lame when you go to church?

Andrés Cisterna
(Audio: Spanish)

SUMMARY: The speaker talks about the power of the Holy Spirit and the need for the church to be attentive to the needs of the people. He references Acts 3 and the story of Peter and John healing a lame man outside the temple. The speaker emphasizes the importance of being aware of when the Holy Spirit can work through us to help others and to be a source of transformation and healing in the world. He encourages the church to be more perceptive and attentive to the needs of the people, and to show the power of God in everyday life.

The church of the Lord is a place of life, power, and transformation. To do the will of the Lord, we must remove our logic, pride, and arrogance, and have faith. A deranged church is one that believes in the power of the Lord and is willing to do His will without questioning it. The Lord wants to pour out a special power over our lives and transform us. The first Christians were filled with fear and astonishment at the miracles the Lord was doing through the church. Today, we should be sensitive to the Lord's glory in our lives and be potential purveyors of His power for the healing of others. For those who believe, everything is possible.

Say each one of you, “How good it is to be in the house of the Lord. Here in the house of the Lord wonderful things happen.” There are some of us who still have a hard time understanding that the Lord wants to do great things in our midst. So, what do you think if today we can say to our brother who is next to us, "the Lord wants to revolutionize our hearts".

It is interesting because for a long time we have tried to motivate the church in different places so that we can be available for the use that the Lord wants to make of us through the Holy Spirit. Each one of us can be such a useful, great instrument, of such a blessing when we can put ourselves in line with the Lord and let the Holy Spirit work at the right time, at the agreed time, on the right person.
