Practice Proverbial Mastery

Dr. Roberto Miranda
(Audio: Spanish)

SUMMARY: We are called to a life of power and self-control, and God has not given us a spirit of fear or timidity. We must believe that we are called to a life of fulfillment and continual victory in Christ. We must not be conservative or scarce with our energies, but always be looking for the next avenue of blessing that God wants to open for our lives. Sometimes we must do the opposite of what our feelings or flesh dictate and operate on what God has declared over our lives. We must exercise prophetic acts, such as humility and forgiveness, to break free from negative emotions and attitudes.

The key to an abundant life is to believe that God has called you to freedom, prosperity, and fullness. Don't let resentment or depression control you, but instead forgive and find joy in laughter. If you struggle with mental impurity, seek holiness and talk to someone about it. Don't let your flesh dictate your actions, but live by every word that comes out of the mouth of God. Even if you feel barren or lacking, raise a song of praise and believe in the abundance that God has in store for you. The infilling of the Holy Spirit can come as a thundering rain or as a seed that develops through use and practice in faith. Fan the gift of God in you until it becomes a flame. Don't let bad teaching or false expectations influence you.

The speaker believes that speaking in tongues is a gift that can be exercised by faith. He encourages people to pray, declare things in the name of the Lord, and exercise the gift of healing. He shares his journey of starting a Spirit-filled Church and learning to handle the technology of the Holy Spirit. He emphasizes the importance of receiving and processing God's declarations about one's life, putting the seal of divine approval on it, and going ahead to develop the gift. He also talks about the lion of Judah vision he received, which encoded a series of elements in the internal constitution of his church, such as being a militant church for the city, a church of authority and warfare, and a church of adoration, royalty, and leadership.

The Church must be like the Lion of Judah, with a roughness and royalty, and a Church of adoration. Each person has a calling from the Lord and a responsibility to push forward the atmosphere of praise in the Church. We must live up to what God has called us to be in all areas of our life and align everything according to what God has declared. We are called to be conquerors of nations, restorers of fallen walls, and repairers of cities. We should not live like beggars when God has called us to all the riches He has in glory. We must embrace the fire of God's gift and fan it every day in all our interventions.

We accept God's call and will use our gifts to serve Him every day. We pray for blessings and protection over our town and reject any lies from the devil. We receive God's grace and say amen.

We are talking in a series of meditations on how to live a successful life, how to live a fulfilling life, a life that reflects the beauty of the Kingdom of God and how we can benefit from all the resources that heaven offers us when we enter into spiritual citizenship to become all that God wants us to be.

God has called us to a life of power, a life of self-control. When saying that, a word comes to mind that I have not used in this context but it is very wonderful, Paul says to Timothy: "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind." "and the word that is translated as cowardice rather what it means is: timidity, a conservative character, living from the plate to the mouth, a mind of scarcity with small and minuscule ambitions but God has called us to a spirit of power, of victory, of power, that is why it says of love and self-control.
