My god is light

SUMMARY: Before knowing Christ, our souls are lost in darkness, searching for something to illuminate our path. But when we find His light, we see our scars and wounds clearly, and He becomes the balm that heals us. We must cling to His light and take care of it, so that we can be a light to the world. Let's make the Lord's words come true and be the light of the world.

In Cuba, so-called 'blackouts' are very common, which are nothing more than the lack of electricity. When they happen at night without prior notice we stay in the most absolute darkness, we grope for a box of matches and sometimes when we light we have a tremendous scare because we have another member of the family next to us who was in the same search and we do not feel it arrive.

When we do not know Christ, our soul is lost in darkness, groping for something to illuminate the path for us. In this search we stumble, fall, hurt, faint and cry in fear of not being able to see beyond what is humanly possible.
