Do not remain in the darkness, but dwell in the light

Charles Spurgeon

SUMMARY: Jesus has come to bring light to our dark world. By having faith in Him, we can escape the darkness and enter into a never-ending day. We should not let doubts or fears keep us in the shadows, but instead, trust in Jesus and enjoy the sunlight He provides. Let us look to Him for hope, joy, and heaven.

This world is dark as midnight; Jesus has come so that by faith, we may have light and no longer remain in the darkness that covers all the rest of humanity.

All that is a very broad term: it means you and me. If we trust in Jesus, we will no longer remain in the dark shadow of death, but we will enter the warm light of a day that will never end. Why don't we go out into the open right away?
