Psalms 32:8 • John 14:6
"No road exists, the traveler said," we sang it loud and clear "Only the path that's made by tread," to banish every fear. We broke the silence, young and bold, with dreams of what could be, Crafting our ways, a story told, for all the world to see. We felt like poets, strong and free, with visions pure and bright, Making our own destiny, in breaking dawn's new light.
But there *is* a Way, already done, a single path to roam, Jesus, the Truth, the Life, the One, He leads us safely Home. He said, "I'll teach you, show you how, I'll guide you with My eye," No need to forge your journey now, beneath the open sky.
My own paths led to falls and pain, with scars I carry still, Believed no other way could reign, just marching by my will. I stumbled, seeking glory's height, on roads I built myself, Lost in the fading, fading light, upon a dusty shelf. But God revealed, in gentle grace, a different journey, wide, A sacred, narrow, blessed space, where blessings will abide.
Oh, there *is* a Way, already done, a single path to roam, Jesus, the Truth, the Life, the One, He leads us safely Home. He said, "I'll teach you, show you how, I'll guide you with My eye," No need to forge your journey now, beneath the open sky.
He waits for you, His gaze so kind, fixed on you from above, Leaving your restless past behind, for everlasting love. To walk with Him, through every trial, though difficult it seems, Worth every step, worth every mile, fulfilling sacred dreams. No need to forge, no need to strain, just take His steady hand, And journey on, through sun and rain, to His promised land.
Yes, there *is* a Way, already done, a single path to roam, Jesus, the Truth, the Life, the One, He leads us safely Home. He said, "I'll teach you, show you how, I'll guide you with My eye," No need to forge your journey now, beneath the open sky.
Oh, walk His Way, embrace His love, a gift from Heaven's grace, A wondrous path, sent from above, in this beautiful place. Difficult, yes, but truly blessed, a peace beyond compare, Come find your hope, come find your rest, His loving presence there. God bless you, friend, on this true Way!
