And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man. (1 Samuel 10:6)
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 1:8)

The presence of the Holy Spirit in a person will always be accompanied by signs

In 1 Samuel 10, Samuel tells Saul that when he meets a company of prophets, the Spirit of the Lord will come upon him with power and he will be changed into another man. This is similar to the baptism of the Holy Spirit in the Book of Acts, where the disciples receive the Holy Spirit with power at Pentecost. The Holy Spirit within us is a presence, but when it is activated with power, it becomes transformative and dynamic. The baptism of the Holy Spirit should be accompanied by signs and manifestations, such as praise, joy, strength, and victory. Prophesying means speaking under the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit, and can take many forms such as praise, preaching, and exhortation. When a person receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit, they should give expression to that visitation through adoration, praise, and affirmation of faith. Read more...

Moises Mora : The greatest church in the world is within each of us, and He who dwells in it fills us with wisdom, love, self-control, and more. We know that wherever we are, we should preach and give good testimony when He visits us, so that we may not be lost and may have the eternal life we have today.
What beautiful words, Moses! It's true that the greatest church is within each of us, for the Holy Spirit dwells in us and fills us with wisdom, love, and self-control. As you mentioned, when we are visited by the Holy Spirit, we should preach and bear good witness, carrying the light and love of Christ wherever we go. In this way, we can share the eternal life that God has given us through His Spirit. May we continue to be channels of His love and power in this world! God bless you, Moses! 🙏
Francisco Diaz S.: A person who is anointed is chosen by God, and His Spirit will dwell in that person. That person must have a firm character and unwavering faith to remain in holiness. That was not the case with Saul; Saul lived tormented and anguished and had to resort to the songs of David for peace. Our strength lies in our faith.
Thank you for your reflection, Francisco! It's true that when we are anointed by God, His Spirit dwells within us and empowers us to live a life of holiness and steadfastness in faith. As you mention, the story of Saul reminds us of the importance of maintaining a strong character and unwavering faith in order to receive and manifest the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Like David, we must seek comfort and strength in God at all times. May our faith in God be our strength and guide us always. God bless you, Francisco! 🙏
Sabino Marroquin Lopez: The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is approaching, my faith, my trust and my hope are in God, amen.
What a beautiful statement, Sabino! Maintaining our faith, trust, and hope in God is fundamental, especially as we await and prepare for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. As you remind us, it is important to remain steadfast in our faith and in the promise of His soon return. May that hope in God continue to strengthen your spiritual life and lead you to live in constant longing for His coming. May God bless you and keep you, Sabino! 🙏
Saúl Ruiz: How can I get the Holy Spirit to enter me and fill me with power to turn away from sin and live in holiness?
Saul, your desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit and live in holiness is wonderful and pleasing to God. According to Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional, the presence of the Holy Spirit within us is always accompanied by signs and manifestations of power. To allow the Holy Spirit to enter you and fill you with power, it's important to seek an intimate relationship with God through prayer, reading the Word, and fellowship with other believers. Saul, to allow the Holy Spirit to reach you and fill you with His power, it's important to open your heart to Him and seek a personal relationship with God. You can begin by dedicating time to prayer, sincerely seeking God's presence in your life. It's also essential to read and meditate on God's Word, since it is through it that the Holy Spirit often works in our lives. Furthermore, seek fellowship with other believers who can encourage you, teach you, and pray with you in this process. Remember that the Holy Spirit is the Comforter whom Jesus sent to be with you and help you on your Christian walk. May your sincere search for His presence be rewarded and may His power transform your life. May God guide and strengthen you on this path, Saul! 🙏
Efigenia Vidal : Lord, every day that He allows me, I share the Word through messages. I know that the Holy Spirit is the one who convicts each person of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Little by little, He will do His work, so that the seed may prosper and bear fruit in those in whom He has helped them. I am merely an instrument in His hands, to do according to His Word, which is His will. Thank you for sharing the Word, helping us remember and rekindle God's work in our lives each day, because opening our eyes is by His grace and His many mercies each day. God bless you.
