Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps. (1 Chronicles 15:28)
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)

Brief history of evangelical worship

The emphasis on preaching as the most important part of worship in many Christian churches has its roots in the Protestant Reformation, which emphasized doctrine and theology. This led to a decrease in the importance of emotional and physical aspects of worship, such as praise and symbolism, and a focus on the mental and conceptual space of the believer. Francisco Diaz S.: I consider it a good practice of worship, at the start of the day and while we prepare to begin our work, to put on Christian praise music on our sound system. This practice uplifts our soul and raises our spirit to the Lord, giving us a comfortable day and keeping us away from bad temptations and influences. Try it and you will feel peace in your spirit.
