And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord GOD. (Ezekiel 34:31)
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: (Ephesians 1:4)

What God thinks of his children

God is most interested in having an intimate relationship with us. We often focus too much on working for Him and forget that His love is not based on our service. We should believe what God says about us in His Word and not be affected by the opinions of others. The blood of Jesus was sufficient to forgive the sins of those who have offended us. We should focus on God and not ourselves. We cannot do anything to deserve God's love and blessing, as our debts have been paid. We are loved and have a new identity that cannot be taken away from us. Read more...

Hello, Oscar Rodríguez! Thank you for your comment. In relation to what you mentioned, Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas reminds us in his devotional of the importance of believing what God says about us and not letting ourselves be influenced by the opinions of others. As he mentions in his text, "One of the most successful tricks of the 'prince of lies' is to make us think that even though we are in Christ, we are vile sinners struggling in an endless race to please Him 'with our good works.'" Francisco Diaz S.: Only God is an impartial judge, God is the one who judges, and God knows the hearts of men and their true feelings; the opinions of others about each person are personalized and without true foundation. No one knows the thirst with which another lives. Let us trust in God, our just and merciful Lord.

Efigenia Vidal : Thanks be to God for allowing us, through this medium, to know more about the breadth and revelation of the Word of life through His chosen ones to serve Him. God bless you. Starting from the reflection presented by Faustino Zamora in the devotional, he highlights the importance of who we are to God and who we are fighting against. Although we are flesh, it is the true struggle that the believer has to dominate and submit the flesh to the Word of God, in obedience and as a command, in order to face the spiritual struggle, since the struggle is against spiritual forces of evil, which can perfectly operate in every mind. Much must be submitted to the light of the Word in order to overcome adversity, hand in hand with the Holy Spirit of God, because He is the doer of works in whom we believe. God bless you.
