And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean? (2 Kings 5:13)
And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian. (Luke 4:27)

God is never in a hurry

The story of Naaman teaches us about how God humbles our reasoning to open us up to the humility and proper disposition needed for Him to work miracles in our lives. We must reject the tendency to judge churches and ministries by their external appearance and instead look at their internal values. Naaman's servants played a determining role in his healing, and God's breaking process is part of His plan for our improvement. God wants to form certain characteristics in us, and He intervenes in our lives to do so. Naaman finally submitted to God's process and became a changed man. Read more...

Oscar Rodríguez : Amen.
Amen, Oscar! How beautiful it is to see how humility and obedience to God can bring transformation to our lives, as we see in the story of Naaman. In 2 Kings 5:13, we see how his own servants reminded him of the importance of obeying God's instructions, even when they seem simple. God always has a purpose behind His processes, as Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional. What a blessing it is to learn to trust in God's ways, even when they sometimes seem difficult or slow!
Francisco Diaz S.: Let us trust in God, knowing that He works in us according to His divine will. Ostentation is scandalous and disgusting, while the humble receive blessing. Thank you, Lord, for loving and protecting us.
What beautiful words, Francisco! It's wonderful to remember that God works in our lives according to His perfect will, as you mention. Humility and obedience are virtues that open the doors to God's blessing, as we see in the story of Naaman. In Luke 4:27, we see how God chose a foreigner, Naaman, to perform a miracle, demonstrating that His grace and power know no bounds. Through humility and obedience, God can transform our lives and use us for His glory. May we continue to trust in His love and protection! God bless you, Francisco!
Sabino Marroquin Lopez: Mi fe, confianza y esperanza esta en Dios, porque ha hecho en mi muchos milagros Divinos, Dios es mi infinito amor verdadero amen.
What a beautiful testimony, Sabino! It's wonderful to be able to place our faith, trust, and hope in God, who has repeatedly demonstrated His faithfulness and power through divine miracles in our lives. As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional, God works in us through processes in which He seeks to form the character of Christ within us, transforming us for His glory. In times of difficulty or waiting, remembering past miracles gives us the strength and hope to move forward with faith. May God continue to manifest His infinite love in your life, Sabino! Amen!
