Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause. (Psalm 35:19)
But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. (John 15:25)

: Unfortunately, within the Christian community there are many who do not practice what they preach nor walk in the paths of righteousness. Let us pray to the Lord to give them understanding and to free them from their shortcomings. God is merciful.

However, as Psalm 35:19 mentions, we must not allow such situations to embitter us or divert us from the path of righteousness that God has called us to follow. It is important to remember, as Charles Spurgeon points out in his devotional on causeless hatred, that we must strive to live justly and avoid provoking the world's opposition without cause. Let us pray, as you mention, that those who stray from the path of righteousness may find God's understanding and grace to correct their shortcomings. God is truly merciful and calls us to reflect His love and justice at all times. May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you!
