For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men. (Jeremiah 5:26)
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. (John 8:11)

Fall into the trap of sin

God calls for pastoral, merciful, and restorative churches that provide a balanced approach to sin and addiction. It is important to treat people who come to our churches with generosity, patience, and kindness, especially those who are struggling with addictions such as homosexuality. The treatment of God in the restoration process can be complex, and it requires knowledgeable people who can work with these processes until the desired result is produced. The story of the adulterous woman in the Bible shows how Jesus dealt with sin and how He balanced mercy with holiness. He did not condemn her but also told her to go and sin no more. We, too, must be people of restoration, mercy, and holiness. Read more...

Comments:

Oscar Rodríguez : Amen, may we all obtain God's forgiveness and a second chance. Amen.
Amen, Oscar Rodriguez! It is comforting to know that, like the woman caught in adultery to whom Jesus showed mercy and grace, we can all receive God's forgiveness and a new opportunity to live in holiness. May we be instruments of restoration and mercy in our churches, following Christ's example. Blessings!
Efigenia Vidal : In light of God's word, the central theme of the devotional shared by Pastor Roberto Miranda allows us to appreciate who we are in the presence of the Lord. Only He has the ability to know what is in the heart of man. Delving into the knowledge and discernment of the word of life allows us to be mindful not to judge by appearances. Because we do not know what led a person to sin, knowing that we are not exempt from it, we must be vigilant not to fall but to persevere in prayer and seeking the Lord. There are times when we can slip, but the Lord acts in time, allowing us to reconsider, to recognize that without His help we are nothing. Therefore, it is better to obey His word and ask Him to instruct and guide us day by day, so that we may be likened to His goodness, mercy, and love. God bless you.
What a beautiful comment, Efigenia Vidal. It's true that the reflection shared by Pastor Roberto Miranda invites us to recognize God's sovereignty in our lives and to remember that only He knows people's hearts. It's essential to remember that we shouldn't judge by appearances, since we don't know the circumstances that led someone to fall into sin. Continuing to pray and constantly seek the Lord helps us remain vigilant and receive His help in moments of weakness. May we obey His Word and allow it to guide us toward a life that reflects His goodness, mercy, and love! May God bless you richly!
Manuel Rincon: Hebrews 4:12 The word of God is living and active...
Thanks for sharing, Manuel Rincón! The quote you mention from Hebrews 4:12 reminds us of the transforming power of God's Word, which is living and active. Just as we have reflected on the importance of grace, mercy, and holiness in restoring those who have fallen into sin, it is essential to remember that it is God's Word that guides, transforms, and renews us. May we allow His Word to act in our lives, strengthening us and leading us along the path of truth and life. Blessings!
Manuel Rincon: Thank you for the messages that help us reflect on our behavior and sin. We are born short of the glory of God and are reconciled by faith in Jesus, and through him we are saved by grace. We are chosen for his love and for good works, which bear witness to our faith.
Manuel Rincón, thank you for your profound reflection! It is true that we are born separated from the glory of God, but by His grace and through faith in Jesus Christ we are reconciled and saved. Being chosen by His love impels us to perform good works that reflect our faith and bear witness to His work in our lives. May we continue to be instruments of His love and grace, bringing light and hope to those around us. May God bless you abundantly!
Nora: Beautiful sermon! It clarified many doubts and also confronted me with my attitudes and thoughts. Thank you, Father, for using these people to guide us back to your restored kingdom and to prevent the enemy from leading us back into sin. Thank you, brothers and sisters, for allowing the Holy Spirit to use you! A thousand blessings!
What a beautiful comment, Nora! It's inspiring to see how the preaching of God's Word can clarify doubts, confront us with our attitudes and thoughts, and guide us toward restoration in His kingdom. It's wonderful when we are sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit and allow ourselves to be used as instruments in God's hands to bless others. May we continue to be channels of His love and grace, resisting the wiles of the enemy and growing in holiness. May God shower you with blessings and strength in your spiritual journey!
Arely : May God guide us in every step we take to pronounce his name.
Amen, Arely! May God's guidance and wisdom always be present in every step we take, so that we may pronounce His name with gratitude, reverence, and love. May our lives reflect His light and His love to each person we meet along the way. May God bless you and sustain you on every journey of faith!
Francisco Diaz S.: I do not condemn you either (Or rather; I forgive you) Go and sin no more, "that is the condition." - Let us recognize our sins, repentantly ask for forgiveness and commit ourselves to not sin again. - Many mistakenly think that because God is merciful and forgives our faults, it is as if we have permission to sin without being admonished. - In order to earn the goodness, grace and mercy of the Lord we must turn away from all the sinful things in this world.
What an insightful reflection, Francisco Díaz S.! Remembering the importance of recognizing our sins, repenting, asking for forgiveness, and committing to never sin again is fundamental to our Christian lives. God's mercy and forgiveness should not be seen as permission to sin, but rather as a call to holiness and to turn away from all that is sinful in this world. May our relationship with God be marked by gratitude for His goodness, grace, and mercy, and may we seek to live a life that glorifies Him at all times. May God strengthen you on your journey of faith!
