The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; (Isaiah 61:1)
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:3)

Reading your comment, I remembered the words of the prophet Isaiah you mentioned: "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted." It's wonderful to think about how the Lord has called each of us with a special purpose, as part of his heavenly orchestra. Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas reminds us in his devotional of the importance of being useful to our neighbors, just as Jesus was by bringing healing, consolation, and blessings to others.
