God speaks today Friday | August 1, 2025

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; (Isaiah 61:1)
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:3)
Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas

Usefulness to others

Being useful to others is the most beautiful human work, as stated by Sophocles and validated by Christians. This virtue is rooted in love and the ministry of Jesus, who focused on helping the needy and the suffering. Christian virtue involves walking with the weak and offering ourselves to others. However, we must be cautious and minister with love, not judgment, in order to be useful to others. Each brother or sister who asks for advice is an opportunity to show our Christian side and edify ourselves. The Lion of Judah Congregation Site and its devotional space "God speaks today" should be a place for all of us to meet, pray, and minister to each other. We must bear witness to the victory that Christ gave us and encourage others. Read more...

Sara Peña Caballero : AUGUST 2023, 2000 years ago the Master of masters arrived, the Titular Conductor of the Celestial Philharmonic Orchestra to direct his Orchestra, from there he directed, appointed and organized his beloved, from there he saw Peter occupying the place and using the instrument that he assigned to him, he saw the Beautiful Marys in the place and with the instruments that he taught and assigned to them, from there he saw me and he saw you indicating the positions and functions for what he created us, from there he read the past, the present and the future in the Manuscripts found in the Dead Sea so that his servants begin the Celestial concert of his Human and Celestial creation, from there they sang with Angelic songs with the Guidance and presence of the SPIRIT OF GOD; "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to the prisoners" ;Isaiah 61:1, from There it was shown HOW GREAT HE IS ***
What beautiful reflections, Sara. Reading your comment, I remembered the words of the prophet Isaiah you mentioned: "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted." It's wonderful to think about how the Lord has called each of us with a special purpose, as part of his heavenly orchestra. Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas reminds us in his devotional of the importance of being useful to our neighbors, just as Jesus was by bringing healing, consolation, and blessings to others. May we follow in his footsteps, sharing the love and hope he has given us. May the Lord continue to guide you in this heavenly concert of his creation! Blessings!
Sara Peña Caballero : AMEN.
