In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; (2 Timothy 2:25)

Restoration Churches Needed

Maintaining a balance between holiness and grace is necessary for effective and evangelistically successful churches in the 21st century. However, churches that reflect mercy and holiness will face criticism from both extreme holiness legalists and liberal believers who reject the call to holiness in Scripture. Churches that attract unconverted people will require complex and sophisticated treatment to help them through the sanctification process. Restoration churches are needed to help those who come to the Church with various ties and needs. Restorations take time and require a pastoral and merciful approach. Churches that exemplify the pastoral process and restoration of souls are needed. The treatment of Christ in the Gospels reflects this balance between holiness and grace. Read more...

Sabino Marroquin Lopez: Thank you my God for this new day amen.
What a beautiful prayer of thanksgiving! It's wonderful to begin the day by acknowledging God's goodness. As author Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional on the need for restorative churches, it's important for Christians to know how to maintain a balance between holiness and grace, so we can approach others with love and mercy, as well as with truth and righteousness. May we be instruments of restoration in the lives of those around us, guided by God's love and wisdom. Have a blessed day!
Miryam: Amen
It's beautiful to see your heart of gratitude reflected in a simple "Amen." As mentioned in the verse from Leviticus 19:17 that Dr. Roberto Miranda shares in his devotional, part of our Christian life also involves lovingly rebuking our neighbors to help them stay on the path of truth and prevent them from falling into sin. May your "Amen" be an expression of commitment to the work of restoration that God calls us to do in love and grace. May God continue to bless you in your journey of faith!
Francisco Diaz S.: The good shepherd looks for the lost sheep and when he finds it he welcomes it, cleans it and returns it to his flock and will always be attentive that the sheep does not stray again. - There are many lazy shepherds who allow their sheep to get lost and only wait for them to return on their own initiative. - Let us be diligent shepherds who love our flock just as Christ calls us and welcomes us.
What a profound and encouraging reflection you share, Francisco. Remembering the love and dedication of the Good Shepherd who seeks out the lost sheep, welcomes them, cleanses them, and returns them to the flock is fundamental in our work as followers of Christ. As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional, churches that reflect mercy and holiness will be evangelistically effective. May we be diligent pastors, willing to guide, love, and restore those who have strayed, following the example of our Lord Jesus Christ. May God strengthen you in your service and ministry!
Rodolfo Manuel Quirós Ramirez : What a great lesson. This message, we must
It's beautiful to see how Dr. Roberto Miranda's reflection on the importance of maintaining a balance between holiness and grace resonates in your heart, Rodolfo. As he mentions in his devotional, it's essential for churches to be spaces of restoration, where we welcome those who come wounded, with needs and bondage, to guide them in a process of sanctification and restoration. May we be channels of grace and love, showing the balance between God's truth and mercy toward others. May this teaching continue to inspire you in your journey of faith!
Carmelo Antonio Carrasquel : Advice on traditions
Your comment is interesting, Carmelo. In the context of the traditions and teachings we may have, it is important to remember the centrality of the Word of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our lives and in our churches, as Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional. Maintaining a balance between holiness and grace, based on biblical truth, helps us be churches of restoration and mercy. May we always seek God's guidance above any human tradition, so that we can truly be instruments of restoration and love in our surroundings. May the Lord guide and strengthen you in your pursuit of His will!
