He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? (Micah 6:8)
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, (Ephesians 2:4)

Mercy that pleases God

God's love for us is not conditional on our spiritual inventory, and He shows mercy to us even when we don't deserve it. In Jesus' time, the religious leaders forgot to show mercy to the marginalized and poor, and today we must remember to act with mercy towards others. Mercy is not just a concept, but it requires action. We should offer mercy to all, especially those who have not yet met God. God's mercy is eternal, and we should practice mercy as a gift of the Holy Spirit. Read more...

Óscar Rodríguez : Amen, God have mercy on us.
What a beautiful comment, Oscar! God's mercy is infinite and is manifested through his great love for us. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, God loved us first and calls us to reflect that same mercy toward others. Let us remember that mercy goes beyond compassion; it is a concrete action to help those in need. Let us follow the example of love and mercy that God gives us. Blessings!
Sabino Marroquin Lopez: The divine mercy of God has saved my life on many occasions, thank you my God, amen.
What a powerful testimony, Sabino! It's wonderful to be able to recognize and be grateful for God's mercy in our lives. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, God's mercy is a gift we don't deserve, but that He gives us out of His inexhaustible love. It's comforting to know that His mercy is eternal and always at our side. Let us remember that, just as we have received mercy, we can also share it with others. May you continue to experience God's grace and love in your life! God bless you!
Francisco Diaz S.: Let us look at the poor, the helpless, the distressed. Are they human? Do they have feelings? Yes... they have souls. They yearn, they hope, they dream, they desire. Let us not abandon them, because God does not abandon us, and God's mercy protects us. Therefore, let us be merciful and benevolent toward our brothers and sisters.
What a profound reflection, Francis. It's important to remember, as you mention, that we are all human beings with feelings and desires, regardless of our social status. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas invites us in his devotional, God's mercy calls us to be compassionate and supportive of those who need our help. Let us remember that God has sheltered us with his mercy, and we must reflect that same kindness toward our fellow human beings. Let us follow the example of Jesus, who showed compassion and love toward all. May divine mercy continue to guide our hearts! God bless you, Francis!
