Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. (John 20:27)

The consequences of being unbelieving and doubting the Word of God

God is going to bring a powerful move of the Holy Spirit that will end the spiritual drought in the nations. However, there will be some who doubt and resist this move, just like the prince who questioned Elisha's prophecy. The Church must be careful not to fall into unbelief and resist God's move. There will be two types of churches: one filled with the Holy Spirit and power, and another apostate and incredulous. Individuals must also be obedient to God's call and not doubt His Word. We must prepare ourselves for the coming move of God and be ready to receive it. Read more...

Carlos Bonilla Alvarez: Excellent reflection. Only faith in our powerful God leads us to the shower of blessings. Thank you.
What a beautiful comment, Carlos! Faith in our powerful God is truly the key to receiving all the blessings He has prepared for us. As the author of the devotional mentions, it is crucial not to fall into unbelief and doubt God's Word, but rather to run with the wind of His Spirit and obey His commands with faith. May we strengthen our faith every day and prepare to receive the great shower of blessings God has for each of us. God bless you, Carlos!
Oscar Rodríguez : Amen, so be it...
Amen, Oscar! May this be the manifestation of God's powerful work in our lives. As the author of this devotional mentions, it is essential that we maintain a posture of faith and obedience before God's Word in order to receive and enjoy all the blessings He has prepared for us. May faith and trust in God be our foundation at all times. God bless you, Oscar!
Francisco Diaz S.: The believer who has a solid faith will always be a believer, and the one who doubts the promises of the Lord ceases to be a believer and sinks into his own opinions. If we do not stray from the ways of God, He will always be with us.
What powerful words, Francis! It's true that solid faith keeps us firm in our trust in the Lord's promises, while doubt can lead us down paths of disbelief and self-confidence that distance us from His will. As the author of the devotional mentions, it's vital that we not stray from God's ways and that we remain in a posture of faith and obedience, thus experiencing His constant companionship and blessing in our lives. May firmness in faith be our guide at all times. God bless you, Francis!
Sabino Marroquin Lopez: Thank you my GOD for this new day, may it go well for me, amen.
What a beautiful expression of gratitude and petition, Sabino! It's wonderful to begin the day acknowledging God's goodness and power, and trusting that He will guide our steps and bless us. As the author of the devotional mentions, it's important to maintain that faith and trust in God at all times, so we can experience His provision and care in our lives. May your day be filled with God's presence and favor. May He bless you richly, Sabino!
Rodolfo Manuel Quirós Ramirez : Beautiful word. And it's true, without the Holy Spirit in our lives, we are dead. As the chorus sung earlier says: Only in Christ, Only in Him. Salvation is found in Him. There is no other name by which we can be saved. To Him be all honor and glory, forever and ever. Amen and amen. God bless you always.
What a beautiful reflection, Rodolfo Manuel! It's true that without the Holy Spirit in our lives, we lack the spiritual vitality that only He can provide. As you mention, salvation is found only in Christ, and it is through Him that we can be saved and have life in abundance. May we continue to recognize the supremacy of Jesus Christ in our lives and may all honor and glory be to Him forever. God bless you always, Rodolfo Manuel!
maria de lourdes Jarrin: The revival taking place in the Church of Christ springs from within each member of His body. It is not a directing of individuals but of the Holy Spirit manifesting Himself. The voice of Jesus is heard through His members. Being ONE with Him, the heart is willing to be led by the Lord. He Himself is removing the magical veils that covered the eyes of His Church—veils of fear, religiosity, and manipulation, which are summed up in a lack of faith, without which it is impossible to please God. Blessed be the Father who has placed us in these times of seeing His light, the light of the first day, which has no shadow, and not only seeing it but living in it and reflecting it.
What beautiful and profound words, Mary of Lourdes! It is true that revival in Christ's church arises from the moving of the Holy Spirit in each of us, transforming our hearts and guiding us in unity with the Lord. As you mention, it is essential that we rid ourselves of all religiosity and fear, to allow the voice of Jesus to manifest through its members and to reflect His light in a world that so needs it. May our faith be strengthened and may we live in the fullness of Christ's light. May God continue to bless you, Mary of Lourdes!
