But Elisha sat in his house, and the elders sat with him; and the king sent a man from before him: but ere the messenger came to him, he said to the elders, See ye how this son of a murderer hath sent to take away mine head? look, when the messenger cometh, shut the door, and hold him fast at the door: is not the sound of his master's feet behind him? (2 Kings 6:32)
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, (Revelation 14:6)
Dr. Roberto Miranda

God is calling His Church to take an important place in the public deliberations of our nations

The scene of Elisha sitting with the spiritual and civil authorities of Samaria illustrates the need for the Church of Jesus Christ to be present in the places where political and civil decisions are made. God is calling His Church to get involved in government, media, finance, culture, and academia to declare the Word of God, principles of the Gospel, and disciple the nations. The Church must prepare a group of Holy Spirit-filled individuals to dialogue at those levels and establish the principles of the Gospel in the foundations of society. The Church will be called to sit with the elders of cities and countries to declare the judgments of God and associate closely with civil authorities from a perspective of dictating God's Word and desires for society. We must prepare and ask the Lord to give us the Word of authority for our nations. Read more...

Oscar Rodríguez : Amen 🙏.
Hello, Oscar Rodríguez! It's wonderful to see your amen in response to Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional. It reminds us of the importance of being in tune with God's call to the church to influence the public spheres of our society. Just as 2 Kings 6:32 expresses, where we see Elisha conversing with the city authorities, we are called to be bearers of the everlasting gospel, as mentioned in Revelation 14:6. May we continue to be faithful messengers of God's Word in all areas of our lives! Blessings!
Saul: Amen. I think Christians should be in public office and politics, to spread the gospel and implant faith in these areas. They should not be so conservative, but rather open the way by practicing the word of God.
Hello, Saul! Your words reflect an important insight into Christian participation in the public and political sphere. It is crucial to remember that, as Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional, God is calling His Church to be involved in all aspects of society, including government and culture. We must be bearers of God's Word and allow the principles of the Gospel to transform our cities and nations, just as he mentions in 2 Kings 6:32. May we be lights in the midst of darkness and take the Gospel to every corner, as we are urged in Revelation 14:6! May God bless you in your journey of faith and action!
Rodolfo Manuel Quirós Ramirez : Blessings and thank you for today's word. It's good for one, as a connoisseur of the word, to be able to do something for one's community, town, or nation, but there are many who simply profit from the word of the Lord. When they have what they wanted, they forget about those who brought them to power. And they become just another corrupt politician. Poor things when the Lord calls them to His presence, and they have to give an account to the Lord. God bless them always.
What a profound reflection, Rodolfo Manuel Quirós Ramírez. It's true that we sometimes see how some use God's word for selfish and corrupt motives instead of being true servants of the Lord in all areas of their lives, including the public sphere. It's vital to remember that integrity and fidelity to gospel principles are fundamental in any leadership position, as the example of Elisha shows us in 2 Kings 6:32. We trust that God will guide and bring justice to all situations. May we continue to be faithful to his calling and bring his light to a world that so needs it! Blessings on your journey of faith!
Francisco Diaz S.: My faith and trust is in God and only in God, who is the founder of heaven and earth. The justice of men is partial and perishable. Lord, guide me on the path of goodness and salvation.
What a beautiful declaration of trust in God, Francisco Díaz S.! It is wonderful to place our faith in the One who is the Creator of heaven and earth, and to recognize that human justice is limited and fleeting. As you express, it is essential that God guide us along the path of goodness and salvation, remembering that only in Him do we find true justice and mercy. May we follow the example of Elisha in 2 Kings 6:32, engaging in dialogue with wisdom and discernment in all areas of society, trusting in divine guidance. May God continue to illuminate your path and strengthen your faith! Blessings!
Sabino Marroquin Lopez: My joy and happiness is to love God and work to help disadvantaged children. That is what my projects consist of, to harness rainwater and agricultural farms. Amen.
How inspiring, Sabino Marroquín López, to see how your love for God is reflected in your dedication to helping those most in need, especially disadvantaged children. Your commitment to projects that seek the well-being of others through the use of natural resources such as rainwater and agricultural farms is a living testimony of love and service. Let us remember that, like Elisha in 2 Kings 6:32, we can be instruments of blessing in our society when we act with compassion and wisdom, seeking the common good and justice. May God continue to guide and strengthen your efforts on behalf of the most vulnerable! Blessings in your work and in your love for others!
SONIA AGUIRRE CRUZ: Excellent words of power and life. God invites us to continue preaching the Gospel everywhere. Wherever we go, I will speak of his testimonies. He is powerful. Thank you. God blesses you.
What a beautiful testimony, Sonia Aguirre Cruz! It is wonderful to recognize the transformative power and vitality of the Gospel, and how God calls us to proclaim His Word everywhere and at every moment. Like Elisha in 2 Kings 6:32, we are called to dialogue with authority and wisdom in our interactions, bringing the light of Christ to every corner of our society. May your testimony continue to be a source of inspiration and blessing to those around you, and may God continue to strengthen your voice to share His love and truth. May His grace accompany you every step of the way! May God bless you abundantly!
