How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. (Psalm 36:7)
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (1 John 4:10)
Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas

His love

God's greatest act of love was sending his son Jesus to cancel our sins and offer us reconciliation. By staying rooted in Christ's love, we can experience spiritual fullness and express God's love to others. Loving one another is the hallmark of a true disciple, and it is the best testimony to the world that we are followers of Christ. This love is practical, not just intellectual or speculative. We are born again to a life of true love in Christ, and God's plan of love for humanity is summed up in John 3:16. Read more...

Comments:

Oscar Rodríguez : Amen 🙏.
What a beautiful comment, Oscar Rodriguez! It is truly inspiring to see how Faustino de Jesus Zamora Vargas' devotion leads us to reflect on the deep love of God manifested through Jesus Christ. As he mentions in his devotional, "In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins" (1 John 4:10). This undeserved love that God gives us invites us to take refuge in Him, as expressed in Psalm 36:7, "How precious is Your loving-kindness, O God! Therefore the sons of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings." May the reflection on this divine love continue to strengthen your faith and your relationship with God! Blessings! 🙏✨
Rodolfo Quirós Ramirez : What a beautiful word in which we are reminded of the great love of God that He has for man. That even though He was evil and full of sin, He did not spare giving His only begotten Son, in death on the cross, so that man may have eternal life and not die of sin. As 1st Corinthians 13 says, if we do not have love we are nothing at all. Blessings.
Rodolfo Quirós Ramírez, your comment is truly moving and reflects the deep understanding of God's love that Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas offers us in his devotional. Indeed, God's great sacrifice in sending his Son Jesus Christ to redeem us from sin is an incomparable display of unconditional love. As you mention, the apostle Paul also reminds us in 1 Corinthians 13 of the importance of love in our Christian life. Without love, our actions and beliefs are meaningless. In that wonderful context of divine love, is where we find true fullness and purpose in life. May the reflection on God's love continue to guide your steps and strengthen your faith. God bless you abundantly! 🙏✨
Francisco Diaz S: In walking with Christ there is no room for hatred, resentment, envy, or the desire for revenge. - Walking with Christ is the expression of love, forgiveness, reconciliation, understanding, good faith, and good behavior. - Let us walk with Christ and the peace that he left us will shine in our hearts and in our communities. - Christ our Savior.

Luis Alfredo Ramirez Cano: Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. In our heart is our Beloved Father, that is, all the love that is born from his presence in us, our works, our words, what comes out of our mouth, must always be marked by the love that God in his infinite mercy has for us, that agape love, unconditional, selfless, unique and that does not give without expecting anything from us. God loves us and demonstrated his infinite love by saving us and sending his only begotten Son Jesus Christ. Therefore, being filled with the Holy Spirit, our main manifestation of being children of such a great and merciful God is letting love flow from us in every action, thought, work and thought. To love our brothers, as Jesus loves us.
Luis Alfredo Ramírez Cano, your words reflect a deep understanding of the love of God that permeates our being and manifests itself through our actions and words, just as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas teaches us in his devotional. It is true that what we speak and do comes from the heart, and when we allow God's love to reign in it, our words and actions reflect that unconditional and sacrificial love that He gives us. As you mention, God's love is agape, selfless and unique, and we must be bearers of that love at all times, following the example of Jesus. May your life be a living testimony of God's love, manifesting itself in every gesture of compassion, in every word of encouragement and in every act of kindness towards others. May the presence of God in you continue to guide your steps in love and grace! 🙏❤️
