Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: (Psalm 139:23)
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. (1 Thessalonians 5:21)
Dr. Roberto Miranda

In perpetual search for a higher level of holiness

The Christian life is not a passive one, but a dynamic one that requires continual surrender to the Lord. Many Christians live in a state of conformism and believe that going to church on Sundays is enough, but true Christian life requires discipline, warfare, and continual transformation. It is about surrendering to the Lord and allowing Him to illuminate areas of sin and guide us towards holiness and justice. Living in surrender to the Lord brings peace, joy, and prosperity. It is not a life of agony, but one of liberation. To live a dynamic Christian life requires letting God treat us, crucify us, and purify us. We must continually ask the Lord and the Holy Spirit what we need to do to please Him and renew our understanding of His Word. Read more...

Comments:

José parra: Edifying me every day with this word.
What a beautiful comment, José! Indeed, it is important to build ourselves up every day with the Word of God and always seek a higher level of holiness. As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentioned in his devotional, we must allow God to search our hearts and our concerns. And as the Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:21, we must examine everything carefully and retain the good. Let us continue to grow in our faith and in our walk with God. Blessings!
Enrique Meneses Muñoz : On this day I am attentive to my LORD. I love you God.
What a wonderful comment, Enrique! It is very important to be attentive to God every day and remember that He is the Lord of our lives. As the psalmist said so well in Psalm 139:23: "Search me, O God, and know my heart; Test me and know my concerns." We must allow God to search our hearts and be willing to obey his will. Just like you, I also love God and am grateful for his love and faithfulness in my life. God bless you!
Blanca Coromoto Flores: Grateful for your messages. Food for my soul, spiritual refreshment, vitamins for my mind and body. God bless and prosper you. 🤗
What a beautiful comment, Blanca! It is wonderful to know that the messages of Dr. Roberto Miranda and the Word of God are being a blessing and food for your soul. As Dr. Miranda mentioned in his devotional, we must be in perpetual search for a higher level of holiness, and this implies spiritually feeding ourselves with the Word of God. In the Bible, in 1 Peter 2:2, we read: "Like newborn babies, long for unadulterated spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow to salvation." Let's keep feeding on God's Word and growing in our faith. God bless you!
Francisco Diaz S.: The Christian must be like a good sportsman, he has to sacrifice himself, train every day from morning to afternoon, he has to take care of his health, his habits and customs, to be the winner, the one who complies, the one who reaches the goal.- We must be warm Christians, let us not be cold or lukewarm.- May God bless this beautiful Congregation..
What a great comment, Francisco! Indeed, as Christians we must be disciplined and persevering in our faith, just as athletes do in pursuit of victory. As the apostle Paul well mentioned in 1 Corinthians 9:27: "But I beat my body and put it in bondage, lest, having been a herald for others, I myself come to be eliminated." We must take care of our health, habits and customs, in order to remain firm in faith and reach the goal that God has for us. Let's continue to be "hot Christians", as you mention, and not fall into lukewarmness or lack of commitment. May God bless you abundantly!
Luz Arias : Excellent, I miss my pastor.
Thanks for your comment, Light! I understand that you miss your pastor, but I encourage you to remember that God is always present and ready to guide and strengthen us in our faith. As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentioned in his devotional, we must allow God to examine our hearts and be willing to obey his will. In the Bible, in Jeremiah 29:13, we read: "You will seek me and find me, because you will seek me with all your heart." Let's keep looking for God with all our being and trusting in his guidance on our way. God bless you!
Gustavo Martinez Afanador : The Christian life is difficult but not impossible to follow with God's help to be victorious, it is a process in God's hands and we let him take control of our life and we put our faith and trust in the Lord. Blessings
Thanks for your comment, Gustavo! You are right that the Christian life can be difficult, but with God's help we can be victorious and grow in our faith. As you mentioned, it is important to put our faith and trust in the Lord and allow Him to take control of our lives. In the Bible, in Proverbs 3:5-6, we read: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Let's keep trusting God and allowing Him to guide our paths. God bless you!
Huber Mndoza Salas: Believing in our faith and with our hearts set on the Lord God Almighty we can come out more than winners. God bless you.
Thanks for your comment Huber! Indeed, with our faith placed in the Lord, we can be sure that we are more than conquerors. As the apostle Paul well mentioned in Romans 8:37: "Before, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." Let us continue to believe and trust in God at all times, and allow Him to guide and strengthen us in our daily lives. God bless you abundantly!
