No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. (Isaiah 54:17)
Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. (Romans 6:18)

Freed from sin to serve justice

Paul calls us to live a life of holiness and presents the idea that under the Old Testament law, salvation was through works, which was impossible to achieve. However, through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, God leads us to that life of holiness, which is pleasing to Him. We are now under the new regime of the Spirit and should present our physical and mental organs to the Lord for sanctification. As children of God, we no longer serve sin but serve righteousness. The fruit of our service is sanctification and the end result is eternal life. We can choose to serve either the flesh or God, with the former resulting in eternal death and damnation, and the latter resulting in eternal life. We should always choose the life of holiness and intimacy with God. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : What a great gift my LORD has given me, by freeing me from sin, giving me his Holy Spirit. Hallelujah.
Hallelujah, brother Enrique! It is wonderful to feel the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. As the apostle Paul says in Romans 6:18: "and having been freed from sin, you have become servants of righteousness." Our deliverance from sin allows us to serve God's justice and lead full and abundant lives. In addition, as God mentions in Isaiah 54:17, no weapon formed against us will prosper, since we are the servants of the Lord and our justification comes from Him. Let us continue in our freedom and in our call to serve the justice of God! our God!

Glory to God, brother Jorge! I join your amen, recognizing that it is only by the grace of God that we can be freed from sin and serve justice. As the prophet Isaiah mentions in verse 54:17: "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And you shall condemn every tongue that rises up against you in judgment. This is the inheritance of the servants of the LORD, And their justification comes from Me", declares the LORD." We trust that our God is powerful and faithful to protect and justify us at all times. Amen, brother Wulfredo! As you well mention, our goal as children of God is to seek holiness and please our heavenly Father. As it says in 1 Peter 1:15-16: "but, just as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your manner of living; for it is written: Be holy, for I am holy." And it is precisely through the help of the Holy Spirit and faith that we can achieve it. Let us continue to seek God's holiness and justice at all times, knowing that He has called us to be his children and to reflect his holiness in this world. God bless you brother!
Francisco Diaz S.: The message of Dr. R. MIranda invites us to be honorable, but truly honorable, not to dress in fine linen and put on a mask of good people and hide a sinful soul within our clothing.- To be honorable is to be just, be patient, be understanding, be loyal, wish no one ill and walk the path of righteousness and God will be pleased with us.
