There is a great hunger for Christ nowadays

SUMMARY: The heart of the gospel is that God loves the world and gave His Son for it. However, up to 50% of the world's population has not heard of the Gospel. We are called to share the good news with others, as we are all sent out as messengers of the Gospel. Sometimes, people may reject the Word, but we are in good company as even Jesus experienced rejection. The two elements of sharing the Word are the Word itself and the way in which it is delivered with love, not imposition.

Sharing the Word of God involves two elements - the Word itself and the heart of the person receiving it. We are responsible for sharing the Word with love and not imposing it on others. However, we cannot control the state of the person's heart and whether they accept or reject the Word. There is a risk in sharing the Word, but we must overcome our fears and love others enough to share the Gospel with them. Perfect love casts out all fear. A soul is worth everything and we must have a change of focus to see the people before us and worry about their souls. We must do it with love and bring hope, not condemnation.

And when we see this verse we can capture the heart of our God, this is the heart of the Gospel. The Lord longs for an intimate and saving relationship with every human being on the face of the Earth, He gave His life for us. We have been born again, we have the great privilege of knowing Jesus Christ but we can sometimes have a mistaken concept and we can sometimes think that everyone in the world has the same access to the Gospel that you and I enjoy.
