Say hello to the blessing that comes

SUMMARY: God wants us to develop faith by confessing his promises and waiting patiently for them. We should look at God's promises as if they were already a reality and greet them with faith. Even in times of crisis, we should declare God's goodness and faithfulness, even if we do not feel it. The Lord always keeps his promises and those who trust in him will not be ashamed. Keep your eyes on the Lord and have challenging faith.

If God gave us everything immediately whenever we need it, where would faith be? Where would the hope be? God wants us to develop faith by confessing his promises and waiting patiently for them. I love the text of Hebrews 11:13: “According to faith all these died without having received what was promised, but looking at him from afar and believing it, and greeting him and confessing that they were strangers and pilgrims on the land..."

I like that "looking at him from afar" and "believing him and greeting him." That is what we do with the promises of God; Many times we look at them from afar and visualize them, like the child who looks at these sweets intensely through the glass of the store and puts his hand as if he wants to eat it, but there is a glass that prevents him.
