For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. (Romans 8:15)
Charles Spurgeon

Your worst enemy is in your own chest

We must have courage when fear takes hold of us, as cowardice can lead to sin. God is with those who are with Him, and will never be far away in times of need. Trust in God to provide for His servants, even in difficult circumstances. Remember the stories of Daniel and the three young saints, and their deliverance from danger. The worst enemy is within ourselves, but we can conquer fear by relying on God's help. Read more...

Andrés Perdomo 🇻🇪: We know it's not easy, but we must learn to have faith; and consequently, we will cease to fear the storms... If Jesus teaches us anything in his word, it is not to be "men of little faith"... And it will never be easy because Satan and his demons use the consequences of the sin of our father Adam and our mother Eve very effectively against us... that is, the trials of life. They harass and strike us continuously and relentlessly, like the whip on Jesus' back, causing pain and sorrow in our poor hearts, fear and despair; but as it is written, we must be humble and turn the other cheek and forgive seventy times seven, because they do not know what they are doing... This, with the belief, the hope, the faith; that we will have a better life in Christ Jesus and our Lord Yahweh God. From Venezuela, we ask the Lord that his Holy Spirit give strength to our hearts, that he speak His Word, and that it be his will to shorten their time. Amen!
Andrés Perdomo 🇻🇪, your reflection is profound and full of truth! It's true that in the midst of life's storms, we must cling to faith in God and His Word. As you mention, Jesus teaches us not to be people of little faith, but to trust in Him at all times. Even though adversity may strike us like the whip on Jesus' back, it's important to remember that in Him we find comfort, peace, and hope. It's inspiring to see your determination to move forward with faith and forgiveness, remembering Jesus' teachings on humility and mercy. As Romans 8:15 mentions, we have received a spirit of adoption as children, which allows us to cry out "Abba, Father!" and trust in His unwavering love. From here, we join you in prayer from Venezuela, asking the Lord that His Holy Spirit strengthen our hearts and that His will be done in our lives. Amen! May peace and hope in Christ Jesus always guide your paths. God bless you!
