The virtue of humility

Humility is one of the most difficult challenges in leading a Christian life that pleases God. Humility allows us to acknowledge before God that we are sinners and can achieve nothing without Him. Christ is the paradigm of humility, and through His humility to the point of death on the cross, we have been saved and inherit a glorious future. Francisco Diaz S.: Many people build castles with their ego, and often those castles are impregnable. Let's recognize the qualities of others and come down from that cloud of superiority. Jesus Christ, being God, became man to save humanity.
What a profound reflection, Francisco. In Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas's devotional, the importance of humility is emphasized, as is recognizing that only through God can we achieve true greatness. As mentioned in Philippians 2:8, "Christ is the epitome of humility. He humbled himself like no other." Remembering that Jesus Christ, being God, became man out of love for humanity, invites us to let go of any hint of superiority and to recognize the qualities of others. May we follow Christ's example of humility in our daily lives! God bless you!
