And he took a yoke of oxen, and hewed them in pieces, and sent them throughout all the coasts of Israel by the hands of messengers, saying, Whosoever cometh not forth after Saul and after Samuel, so shall it be done unto his oxen. And the fear of the LORD fell on the people, and they came out with one consent. (1 Samuel 11:7)
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 1:8)

When the Holy Spirit gives us supernatural authority

When the Holy Spirit is within us, we are given authority, effectiveness, wisdom, and a supernatural aura that enables us to testify about the Gospel and the claims of Jesus Christ as Lord. This is why it is important for believers to be filled with the Holy Spirit. However, the Presence of the Holy Spirit is not a solver-everything; other additional elements are needed, such as fidelity to the Word of God, holiness, integrity, humility, meekness, the fruit of the Spirit, obedience, a rejection of money and material things, and a total surrender to the interests of the Kingdom of God. We must conduct ourselves with a healthy and sacred fear because the Holy Spirit is powerful and delicate. We cannot neglect other parts of the Christian life and must keep all nutrients of the Kingdom of God in balance to avoid terrible downturns that serve as an obstacle to the movement of God in our lives. Efigenia Vidal : Each day, the Word of Life makes evident how much we must depend on God in our journey through this present life. When we allow ourselves to be guided by His Holy Spirit, who is present in our lives, we must heed and obey His commands so that we may flourish and be useful instruments, and not be a stumbling block in God's work. Living the experience of being guided by the Holy Spirit is indescribable; there are no words to describe it. What is conveyed is one thing, but the feeling of being visited and guided is another. May God help us discern the moments when we are touched by the presence of the Holy Spirit and when He calls us to obey, for there is gain for those who obey, so that His kingdom and power may be manifested. God bless you. Thank you for the reflection on the Word in the devotionals for reaching spiritual maturity.

May you continue to experience the guidance and palpable presence of the Holy Spirit in your daily walk, and may God grant you discernment to obey His instructions. Blessings on your journey of spiritual maturity and in your service to the Lord!

Francisco Diaz S.: Human beings are inherently weak-willed and prone to self-importance and feeling superior to others when they wield power. The beings the Lord chooses are special beings with special qualities. Let us be mindful of our actions and ask the Lord for guidance in our lives.
That's true, Francisco. As you mention, human weakness and the tendency to become proud are common challenges. It's important to remember, as Dr. Roberto Miranda points out in his devotional, that when we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we receive a supernatural authority that empowers us to be effective witnesses for Christ. Seeking the Lord's direction and guidance in our lives helps us remain humble and use that authority wisely and according to His will.
