Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun. (Ecclesiastes 2:11)
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (1 John 2:16)

Carnal or spiritual?

The flesh is the part of us that seeks worldly desires and does not surrender to God. It is selfish and tries to be like God. Satan tempts us to live in the flesh, but King Solomon realized that it is all meaningless. As Christians, we should live in the Spirit and grow in the image of Christ. By submitting to God and obeying the Spirit, we can flee from temptations and live in peace with God and others. Read more...

Oscar Rodríguez : Amen, God give me strength and wisdom... and protect me from all evil.
Brother Oscar Rodriguez, it is beautiful to see your desire for strength and wisdom, as well as your request for protection. Let us remember the words of 1 John 2:16, which warn us about the desires of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, which come from the world and not from the Father. May these words inspire you to seek strength in the Lord and to keep your desires in line with His will. May God bless and protect you always!
Cristina : Being born again is a tremendous challenge from God, a profound understanding of the faith that only faith can create. Jesus, the perfect saint, in his death and resurrection, willingly taking our place in the face of God's holy demand, which no one else could fulfill, granted us entry into healing. "Whoever does not eat my flesh and drink my blood is not born again," said the Lord, astonishing everyone. Faith, acceptance in love, renunciation of sin, of Satan, of evil works—let us have love, let us joyfully cherish what he has given us, and let us pursue the goal of the holy calling: to overcome, of course, with all that it implies. Smile, Jesus loves us.
Dear Cristina, your words reflect a deep understanding of faith and Jesus' sacrifice for us. It is true that being born again is a profound and beautiful challenge that can only be understood through faith in Christ. Jesus' self-giving, taking our place and sacrificing himself for us, allows us to access spiritual healing and eternal life. Remember the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ, as you mention, about the importance of accepting His sacrifice, renouncing sin, and following Him with love and devotion. May that love and faith guide you in your daily walk, always remembering that Jesus loves us unconditionally. May God fill you with blessings and give you strength to continue on His path!
Sabino Marroquin Lopez: My God, I thank you for this new day. I ask God that my projects go well, to generate employment and help children. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
Brother Sabino Marroquin Lopez, it is beautiful to see your gratitude to God for a new day and your desire for your projects to prosper so you can help those in need. Remember that in everything you undertake, it is important to seek God's will and act with righteousness and love toward others. May your generosity and actions be guided by the Holy Spirit, as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas reminds us in his devotional. May God bless you abundantly in your work and grant you wisdom to accomplish your goals in a way that honors His name. Amen!
Francisco Diaz S.: He who wallows in the filth of the world comes out covered in mud; he who walks with Christ will be cleansed and purified, and will live in peace with God, with himself, and with his neighbor.
Dear Francisco Diaz S., your words are wise and reflect the truth revealed in God's Word and in the devotional by Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas. It is true that those who walk in the ways of the world will be stained by its impurity, but those who walk with Christ will be cleansed and purified, finding peace in their relationship with God, with themselves, and with others. May these reflections inspire you to remain close to Christ, always seeking His guidance and living in harmony with His will. May God strengthen you on your path of faith and fill you with His peace!
