Naaman's grateful attitude

After Naaman is miraculously healed, he humbly presents himself before Elisha and recognizes him as his spiritual authority. The Holy Spirit continues the story to show Naaman's change in attitude and willingness to submit to authority. The author encourages Christians to submit to legitimate authority and not be demanding or critical. He shares an example of a sister who left the church because she did not like a comment the pastor made about her favorite presidential candidate. : The attitude of the prophet Elijah in not accepting gifts or presents from the one who was healed was very interesting, so different from the attitude of many ministers and pastors who practically charge for the miracles of the Lord.
