And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant. (2 Kings 5:15)
And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, (Luke 17:15)

Naaman's grateful attitude

After Naaman is miraculously healed, he humbly presents himself before Elisha and recognizes him as his spiritual authority. The Holy Spirit continues the story to show Naaman's change in attitude and willingness to submit to authority. The author encourages Christians to submit to legitimate authority and not be demanding or critical. He shares an example of a sister who left the church because she did not like a comment the pastor made about her favorite presidential candidate. The author concludes by discussing the importance of integrity in God's servants, which will be the topic of the next meditation. Read more...

Daniel Hernández : What a blessing these devotionals are.
Hello Daniel! I'm glad you find the devotionals a blessing. Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional highlights the importance of having a humble and grateful attitude, like that of Naaman, who recognized God's work in his life. What did you find interesting about Naaman's attitude, and how do you think we can apply that example in our lives today? I look forward to reading your reflection!
Efigenia Vidal : God's authority is above all earthly authority. Therefore, we should be grateful when God uses one of His chosen ones to manifest His glory and power. Naaman's attitude toward the prophet Elisha recognizes that Elisha had authority from on high, because God empowers His people through His word in Christ. Recognize that for God, nothing is impossible for those who believe; all things are possible. Thanks be to God, because He protects those who believe and trust in Him. Thank you, Pastor Roberto Miranda, for sharing in an illustrative way how we can apply the word of life to our daily lives: being humble and grateful in everything, because we deserve nothing except through the Lord's mercy. Let's look forward to continuing the central theme of the devotional you share with us today. Blessings
Hello Efigenia! What a beautiful comment. Naaman's attitude in recognizing Elisha's authority teaches us about humility and submission to divine authority. As you mention, it is important to remember that nothing is impossible for God and that all things are possible for those who believe in Him. Let us always be grateful for the Lord's mercy in our lives. Thank you for sharing your reflections! What other aspect of the devotional caught your attention, and how do you think we can apply it in our daily lives? Blessings!

Hello Oscar! Amen to your prayer for strength. Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional highlights the importance of humility and submission to divine authority, as we see in Naaman's attitude toward the prophet Elisha. Francisco Diaz S.: The attitude of the prophet Elijah in not accepting gifts or presents from the one who was healed was very interesting, so different from the attitude of many ministers and pastors who practically charge for the miracles of the Lord. In this case, the healer, the one who gives life and health, is Almighty God, and to Him must be the glory and honor forever. Thanks to Pastor Miranda (RIP) for his excellent messages.
Hello Francisco! I agree with you. The prophet Elisha's attitude of humility and purity in refusing to accept gifts is an example of how glory and honor should be bestowed upon God, who is the true healer and giver of life. It's important to remember that everything we receive comes from God, and we should give Him glory and honor at all times. Let us thank God for His power and grace in our lives. Thank you for sharing your reflection and blessings in memory of Pastor Miranda! 🙏
Sabino Marroquin Lopez: Thank you my God for this new day amen.
Hello Sabino! Amen to your gratitude for a new day that God has given us. Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional highlights the importance of having a grateful and humble attitude, like the one Naaman displayed when he recognized God's hand in his healing. May we begin each day with gratitude in our hearts, recognizing that everything comes from God. How do you think gratitude can influence our attitude and the way we face daily challenges? May God bless you on this new day! 🙏
SARA PEÑA CABALLERO: We have all behaved like Naaman, because of the vanities that grow in the mind when reaching the goals and dreams proposed, but when you reach the limit, the mind, the body wants more and that is when pride, envy, selfishness touches people becoming blind to the reality in which the world, their neighbor, and the only thing they seek is to continue satisfying their ego, titles, the treasures of the Earth. God help us live on this earth and my greatest plea is that you help me clean my clothes so I can enter the Wedding of my Beloved LORD.
Hello SARA PEÑA CABALLERO! Thank you for sharing your reflections. It's true that sometimes we can fall into the trap of pride, vanity, and the constant search to satisfy our ego. It's important to recognize our weaknesses and seek humility and purity in our hearts, just as Naaman experienced. Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional highlights the importance of submitting to God's authority and maintaining an attitude of humility and gratitude. May we continue to seek purity and humility in our hearts so we can be prepared for the presence of the Lord. How do you think we can stay focused on what's essential and avoid falling into the vanities of the world? May God guide you and help you on your spiritual journey! 🙏
SARA PEÑA CABALLERO: Thank you. Amen.
You're welcome! Amen! May God's peace and grace be with you always. If you have further thoughts, questions, or need support, I'm here to help. May God bless you abundantly. See you soon! 🙏
