Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: (James 4:13)

We cannot import the patterns of the secular world into the Christian world

Naaman, a man of authority, seeks healing from God but operates according to his patterns of power and authority. He goes to the king of Israel and believes that he can bribe and pay the prophet Elisha to do the miracle that he needs. But God wants to bring Naaman to a frontal encounter with the realities of His Kingdom where only the humble acquire what God needs. Sometimes God is waiting for us to humble ourselves before Him. We cannot import the patterns from the secular world to the Christian world. God seeks the heart and wants us to break before Him so that He can do what He wants to do in our lives. The lesson of this moment is to humble ourselves before God and let Him pass us through the sugar mill so that we can receive and contain the glory that God wants to give us. Read more...

Juan Luis Matias Giron: It's important to understand that the Lord's plans are plans for good and not for evil, just as His thoughts are not our thoughts. Therefore, our relationship with Him must be that of servants, with a broken, contrite, and humble heart before our Creator. We owe everything to Him and will always be indebted to Him, since He did everything so that we could have the relationship we now have—to be children of God. Thank you for the word; it blesses me greatly, and I share it with others so that they too may be blessed. Greetings and onward, servants of the Most High God!
What a beautiful message, Juan Luis. Your reflection highlights the importance of recognizing the greatness of God's plans, which are always for good and surpass our limited understanding. It's a powerful reminder of our position as humble servants before our Creator, to whom we owe everything. May your attitude of gratitude and humility continue to be a light to those around you, sharing the blessings you have received through the Word. May the Lord continue to strengthen you on your journey. God richly bless you!
