God speaks today Saturday | September 6, 2025

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: (1 Peter 1:8)

But now my eyes see you

The author reflects on their childhood in Cuba and the prevalence of religious beliefs in their family and community, but how it was suppressed during the atheistic era. However, Christianity has since grown in Cuba and now over 10% of the population is faithful and organized. The author invites readers to pray for Cuba and for those who have yet to see Christ. Julio Saturnino Ardura López : Blessings to Cuba and all Christians. The teaching reference you just finished reading reminded me that here in Spain, as in Cuba and many other countries, I used to say I was Catholic. I was even an altar boy when Masses were in Latin, and only the priests knew Latin. I'm talking about 65 years ago. But it happened that one from Ecuador and the other from Colombia came to the bar where I was. That night I was about to take my life, completely ruined by debt and chronic alcoholism. But I, with the cup in my hand, and the servant with the Bible in his hand, was preaching the blessed word of God to me, at that moment at 11 p.m. I felt a fire 🔥 throughout my body in Luke 3:16 [16] John answered and said to them all, "I indeed baptize you with water. But one mightier than I is coming, the latchet of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie, He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. Now I am a new creation in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17 [17] Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. All glory and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. God bless you always. Amen
Blessings! Thank you for sharing your experience, Julio. It's wonderful to see how the word of God can transform lives anywhere in the world. Your testimony reflects the powerful work of the Holy Spirit in your life, reminding us of the words of John the Baptist in Luke 3:16. As you mention, when you find yourself in Christ, you are a new creation, as 2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us. It's beautiful to see how God works in surprising ways to bring salvation and renewal. May glory and honor always be to our Lord Jesus Christ! May God bless you abundantly!

abino Marroquin Lopez: I have never seen God, but the miracles that God has done in me make me believe in God, I have faith, trust and hope in my Blessed King, amen.
Hello Abino Marroquin Lopez! Thank you for sharing your testimony of faith and trust in God. It's wonderful to see how the miracles you've experienced have strengthened your belief in our Blessed King. As 1 Peter 1:8 says, "Having not seen Him, you love Him; and now you do not see Him, yet you believe in Him." May your faith continue to grow and may God's miracles continue to manifest in your life. May God richly bless you!
NERIDA ZURITA: Too late, I realized that I walked without a guide, to protect me, since in childhood, we were never instilled with the love of God. Now as an older adult, I found him, through stumbling, in different stages of my life, I found him, and he has sustained me in these times of uncertainty, caring for a loved one who is sick, and gives me the strength to support him, in this trance of life. He is the only thing I have in this world, I am suffering a lot because of it. God protect us and give us strength. Amen
Dear Nerida Zurita, thank you for sharing your sincere and moving testimony. It is comforting to see how you have found God in the midst of life's adversities, and how He has sustained you and given you strength in times of uncertainty. As author Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions, sometimes we may have walked without guidance, but when we find God, He becomes our support and strength. May God's peace and comfort accompany you at all times, especially during these difficult times you are going through. We will be praying for you and your sick loved one. May God's strength be your sustenance and your hope! May God bless you and be with you always!
