Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. (James 1:12)

Blessed enduring the test

Those who endure tests of faith without rebelling or deviating from their integrity are blessed, but this can only be seen through a celestial perspective. After passing the test, they receive the seal of divine approval, known as the "crown of life." This is a reward for fulfilling the divine purpose and results in a higher form of spiritual life and joy. The Lord has promised the crown of life to those who love him and only true lovers of the Lord will endure in the hour of trial. Read more...

Francisco Diaz S.: I trust in God, my Lord, giver of life and not of death, He who gives me strength to overcome my difficulties, He who raises the fallen and sustains them, He who cherishes the righteous and shuns the wicked, The almighty who will crush wickedness; to him all honor and all glory
What a beautiful comment, Francisco. It's inspiring to see your trust in God as the giver of life and strength in the midst of difficulties. Your message reminds me of the importance of persevering under trial, as mentioned in James 1:12: "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, for once approved, he will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." It's comforting to know that God sustains the righteous and that, in the end, He will crush wickedness. As Charles Spurgeon mentions in his devotional, lovers of the Lord will be tested, but their love will prevail. As Job 5:17 mentions, "Blessed is the man whom God reproves; therefore, do not despise the discipline of the Almighty." May your trust and love for the Lord guide you through your trials, knowing that in the end, the crown of life awaits those who remain faithful. God bless you!
Sabino Marroquin Lopez: I have gone through many moments of anguish, but my faith, my trust and my hope is in God, amen.
How courageous and comforting is your testimony, Sabino. Through your moments of anguish, your faith, trust, and hope in God remain unshaken. Your steadfastness reminds me of the words of James 1:12, which tells us, "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, for once approved, he will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." Charles Spurgeon also inspires us to remain steadfast in our faith during trials, reminding us that love for the Lord will be tested, but it will not be quenched. As he mentions in his devotional, those who have passed through the fire and have not been consumed are blessed. May the strength you find in God continue to sustain you in the midst of your troubles, reminding you that in the end, the crown of life awaits those who love the Lord. May God strengthen and guide you at all times!
Ruth Vives.: A good Christian never misses the opportunity to receive and accept the commandments of the Bible as a sacred discipline that God establishes for us. To protect us because He loves us. Let us always honor His commandments. God bless you! Amen.
Dear Ruth, your words reflect a profound wisdom and devotion to the Bible's commandments as a sacred discipline established by God to protect us, because He loves us. It is beautiful to see your commitment to honoring and accepting God's commandments in your life. As you mention, accepting and living according to God's commandments is a sign of our obedience and love for Him. Let us remember the words of Job 5:17, which point out how blessed is the man whom God rebukes, and James 1:12, which encourages us to persevere under trial, trusting in the promise of a crown of life for those who love the Lord. May your love for God's commandments continue to guide your steps and strengthen your faith. May His blessing and love always accompany you. May God keep you and strengthen you in your journey of faith, Ruth! Amen!
