Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. (Psalm 51:1)
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. (Acts 3:19)

The terrible cost of sin

In this meditation, the focus is on the importance of calling people to holiness and presenting it as beautiful and positive, rather than just instilling fear of damnation. The example of David's life is used to illustrate the cost of sin and the beauty of holiness. When David repents of his sins, he humbles himself before God and is forgiven, showing the mercy and grace of God. However, there are still consequences to his actions, such as the death of his illegitimate child and ongoing conflict in his lineage. The meditation emphasizes the importance of balance and nuance in God's treatment of His people, and the church should strive to emulate this. Read more...

Francisco Diaz S.: Evil brings horrible consequences, abuse and transgression in fact have negative replicas. - The Lord cleanses our soul, washes our conscience to give us peace but the seed of evil that has been sown will bring bad and bitter fruits. - Let us always try to do good and not stray into sinful paths so that our footprint may be of pleasant memory. - Let us walk hand in hand with the Lord

Let us follow the call to holiness and to do good, so that our mark is positive and remembered with gratitude. As Acts 3:19 says, "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be wiped out." May the Lord always guide us on the path of righteousness and goodness!
