For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. (Psalm 149:4)
For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! (1 Corinthians 9:16)

Prophets Wanted

We need to continue preaching the Gospel even if some reject it or choose not to listen. Like the Apostle Philip who was sent to find the Ethiopian, we should approach those who may already have access to the Word but still need someone to explain it to them. We cannot be afraid of rejection or confrontation, as Christ Himself confronted His peers with the truth. We must also act in justice, embrace mercy and piety, and help those who suffer. There are still many people in the world who need to hear the Good News, and we must be willing to share it with them. Read more...

I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy. (Psalm 132:16)
Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. (Psalm 35:27)

Comments:

Efigenia Vidal : The reality expressed in the devotional that Faustino Zamora bought for us echoes the importance and a cry of anguish in sharing the word of salvation. For just as the Lord worked in every convert, so He will do with those who are given the seed of spiritual bread, according to 1 Corinthians 9:16. Recently, while talking with someone, I quoted something about how God is not a punisher. I told him it's not that He is a punisher; it's that if, knowing the word, we do what we shouldn't, we don't fear God, and we experience consequences for disobedience. We have many examples in the word, such as the disobedience of His chosen people. God loves us, but we must be obedient in preaching and sharing the word. The Holy Spirit will do the same, so that they may be converted and continue to help them in knowing the word, so that God's purposes may be fulfilled.
It's important to note how your reflection relates to the message shared by Faustino Zamora. As you mention, the responsibility to share the word of salvation and preach the gospel is crucial, as highlighted in 1 Corinthians 9:16. It's true that God loves us and seeks our obedience, but we must also remember that our actions have consequences when we disobey His word. Your experience speaking with that person reflects the importance of sharing the message of salvation and allowing the Holy Spirit to act in the lives of those with whom we share the word. May the Lord continue to guide you in your work of spreading His message of love and salvation!
Francisco Diaz S.: We must be an example in society; with our actions, with our active personality in Christ, with mercy and love for our neighbor, with humility and at the same time with firmness in our convictions. This is the best approach for Christians with unbelievers. God and the Holy Spirit guide us.
That's true, Francis. Your comment highlights the importance of being true reflections of Christ in our society, demonstrating love, mercy, humility, and firmness in our convictions. It is through our example and our way of life that we can bring unbelievers closer to the faith. By allowing God and the Holy Spirit to guide us, we can positively influence those around us, showing them the love and light of Christ through our actions and attitudes. May you continue to be a light in the midst of darkness, showing the way to the truth and love of God!
Sabino Marroquin Lopez: God is my great love, worshiping him is my greatest happiness amen.
What a beautiful comment, Sabino. Like you, worshiping God and experiencing His love is a source of great happiness. In Psalm 149:4 we read that "the LORD delights in His people; He adorns the afflicted with salvation." By placing God at the center of our lives, we find fulfillment and true joy. May you continue to enjoy His love and seek His presence at all times. May God bless you abundantly on your journey of faith!
