And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. (Genesis 3:13)
I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. (Romans 7:21)
Dr. Roberto Miranda

We have to identify the areas of our life that are not addressed by God

In Romans 12, the apostle Paul calls us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice. The word "bodies" refers not only to our biological aspect but also to everything that has to do with our human nature, including our psychology, will, memories, intelligence, emotions, and more. Unlike the spirit, which is the higher part of our being, the body is the part that interacts with the world and can be in conflict with God's purposes. Therefore, we must continually bring our flesh to the Lord and ask Him to deal with it and make it an instrument for His holiness and justice. This involves identifying the areas of our life that are not addressed by God and presenting them to Him in prayer, fasting, confession, and more. By doing this, we can become a living sacrifice for God's glory. Read more...

Comments:

Sabino Marroquin Lopez: For a long time I offended God, my family and other people, because I had not read the Bible and did not know God, today I am sorry and asking God for forgiveness amen.
What a beautiful testimony, Sabino! It's wonderful to see how God can transform repentant lives and hearts. Just as author Dr. Roberto Miranda mentioned in his devotional, it's important to identify the areas of our lives that God hasn't addressed and present them to Him in prayer and confession. Just as the woman in Genesis 3:13 acknowledged her mistake and sought reconciliation, your repentance and seeking forgiveness are significant steps in your relationship with God. God is faithful to forgive and restore! May you continue to grow in your walk with Him!
Francisco DiazS.: By receiving Christ in our hearts, by making him a part of our lives, we are new creatures; the faults and errors of the past have been forgotten. But in our lives we must rigorously assume our life of holiness in Christ, that is; we must be authentic Christians and not cheap Christians because the wicked with a good face do more harm than the bad with genuine feelings.
Thank you for sharing your reflections, Francisco! It is true that by receiving Christ into our hearts, we experience a transformation that makes us new creatures. However, as you mention, it is essential to take our life of holiness in Christ seriously. Dr. Roberto Miranda urges us to identify the areas of our lives that are not being addressed by God and present them before Him to be transformed into instruments of holiness and righteousness. Authenticity in our faith is crucial, since, as Romans 7:21 says, we often struggle with the presence of evil within us. Let us strive to be genuine Christians, committed to following Christ with integrity and devotion. May the Lord help us live holy lives before Him!
Jaqueline Rodríguez Bonola : Thank you, everything is living food.
What a beautiful comment, Jaqueline! It is true that the Word of God is living food for our souls, just as the apostle Paul reminds us in Romans 12, where he exhorts us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice. Like the woman in Genesis 3:13, who recognized her error and sought communion with God, every time we approach the Word and surrender ourselves to God, we experience His transformation in our lives. May we continue to nourish ourselves with the Word of God to grow in holiness and communion with Him. May God bless you in your walk with Him!
Rodolfo Manuel Quirós Ramirez : I thank God for allowing me to learn more about His word every day, through you, who send it to me every day. May God bless you always for that. In this way, one also learns from the word. How many times have we read the book of Romans and not found the time to understand the word of the Lord God? May God bless you always. Thank you very much.
Rodolfo, what a beautiful expression of gratitude to God! It's wonderful to see how He works in our lives through His Word and resources like Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional. As you mention, it's a privilege to know and delve into the Word of God, which guides, transforms, and strengthens us. Just as the apostle Paul encourages us in Romans 12 to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, it's important to spend time understanding and applying the Word in our daily lives. May you continue to grow in your knowledge and relationship with God through His Word. May God bless you abundantly on your journey of faith!
Rodolfo Manuel Quirós Ramirez : Amen and Amen
Amen, Rodolfo! May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ always accompany you. Blessings on your journey with Him!
