A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 36:26)
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. (2 Corinthians 7:1)

The challenge of holiness

Holiness is not just being consecrated for God's service, but also involves deviating from everything that is not holy and fleeing from temptation and sin. The Christian must sanctify themselves and have an irreproachable behavior, avoiding the passions of the flesh and submitting entirely to God. The holiness of the Christian is the will of God and is a work of the Holy Spirit. Holiness is sought and practiced, and it is not enough to just be separated or consecrated for God's service. The expression of our Christian walk must be in line with God's will and include humility, love, dedication to others, and a permanent flight from sin. Holiness is brotherly love, not just appearance and vanity. Our way of life should earn the respect of those who are not believers and not depend on anyone. Read more...

Francisco Diaz S.: Are we light Christians? Or are we pure Christians? Many call themselves Christians, they feel Christians, but they do not separate themselves from the delights of the world. These are Christians in appearance. Let us be pure Christians, who walk and act in accordance with Christian virtues, who are in communication with God and in love and understanding with our fellow men. God will bless us.
