I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight. (Psalm 119:174)
For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; (Hebrews 2:2)
Dr. Roberto Miranda

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation?

The writer of the Epistle to the Hebrews, similar to the Apostle Paul in Romans chapter 12, emphasizes the importance of taking seriously the great salvation received through Christ Jesus. The writer points out that in the previous plan of salvation in the Old Testament, God immediately brought punishment for disobedience and neglect of the plan. Therefore, Christians must be careful about how they behave and not neglect the seriousness with which they should serve the Lord. The salvation through Christ Jesus has been confirmed by those who heard God testifying together with them, with signs and wonders, and various miracles. The writer emphasizes that neglecting such a great salvation will lead to punishment and discipline from the Lord. Read more...

Luis Alfredo Ramírez Cano: Great Word and reflection, Pastor. We must be doers of the Word, not just hearers. Our transformation begins in our hearts; from there our mouths speak and our thoughts are born. Nothing that enters us contaminates us; everything that comes out of us contaminates us. If the Holy Spirit is in us, nestled in our hearts, we are new creations. We are children of God, and as such, we must act and walk in the world. By their fruits you will know them; thus, by our actions, we will be identified and judged. God is merciful to us; we are imperfect, but with the Word and the hand of the Lord, we are changing. The Lord looks at our hearts and helps us change day by day. God bless you.

Efigenia Vidal : Amen, and thank you, Lord, for your blessed word. I always remember that the Lord scrutinizes each one of us long before we act. That's why He exhorts us first, because He knows that this is not the right path to take, because only He knows what is best for each person, even if they believe it is the right course of action. However, His word says that what seems right to do, only God knows the intentions and twists things, because the intended course is not the most convenient. Thank you, God, for the word of reflection you share with us today through Pastor Roberto Miranda. May God bless and protect you.
Hello, Efigenia! What a beautiful reflection you share on God's wisdom in searching us and guiding us on the right path, even when we believe our actions are right! It's comforting to remember that God knows our intentions beyond what seems right in our eyes, and He straightens our path according to His perfect plan. May God continue to illuminate your path and richly bless you on your journey of faith! God bless and protect you! 🙏🏻
