God speaks today Friday | June 27, 2025

Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh right. (Proverbs 16:13)
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. (Galatians 1:7)
Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas

There is only one gospel

We must not limit the Gospel to a series of ethical principles. The Gospel is about faith that God has entered our lives and begun a transforming work. We must not conform to relativism and doubt, but proclaim the Truth of Christ without fear. The church must establish itself as the bearer of Truth and our commitment to share the love of Christ should not just be a slogan, but a genuine testimony. We cannot sweeten the Gospel with promises of prosperity and must preach with our actions. We must be attentive to the voice of God and not be swayed by pseudo-prophetic winds. Read more...

Comments:

Oscar Rodríguez : Amen, may God transform our hearts.
What a beautiful comment, Oscar! As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, the Gospel invites us to experience the transformation of our hearts through faith in Christ. As it says in Galatians 1:7, "There is no other gospel, but some are troublemaking you and wanting to pervert the gospel of Christ." It is important to remain firm in the truth of the Gospel so that we can reflect God's light in this world. May God continue to work in your life!
Patricia Campo: Just at the moment of my prayer, I was speaking to the Lord about some people who attend church and serve diligently, but last week I caught them in a lie. They asked me a question about something, and it turns out they knew more about it than I did. How they laid snares of deception, being servants of the Lord! May the Eternal Father have mercy on them.
Dear Patricia, your comment reflects a painful and challenging situation. It is important to remember the words of Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas in his devotional when he mentions that the Gospel is not just a series of personal actions, but rather a testimony that God has entered our lives to transform us. Sometimes, even those who serve in the church can struggle with the temptation of deception and falsehood. As Proverbs 16:13 says, "Righteous lips are a king's delight, and he who speaks what is right is loved." Let us pray that the Lord will bring healing and repentance to these people, and that we may witness their transformation. May God's love and mercy be with you during this difficult time!
Wilson Bravo : The love of God cleanses us from our sins and transforms us from glory to glory.
What a beautiful truth you share, Wilson. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, the Gospel is precisely about the transformation we experience through God's love. As he mentions in his text, the Gospel frees us from the bonds of sin and empowers us to live a new life in the Spirit. As he expresses in his devotional, "The Gospel is to bear witness that God has entered your life, that his Spirit has begun the transforming and liberating work in you." May God's redemptive love continue to work in our lives, taking us from glory to glory, as the apostle Paul mentions in 2 Corinthians 3:18. May God continue to cleanse and transform our hearts!
Anny: This is a wonderful way to spread the gospel, God bless your lives.
Thank you for your comment, Anny! It's inspiring to see how Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas's reflection on the Gospel resonates in our hearts. As he mentions in his devotional, the Gospel calls us to be bearers of the Truth and to share Christ's love through our witness and actions. May we be instruments of God to bring his message of hope and transformation to those around us, just as you mention. May God continue to bless your life and use you for his glory. May his light continue to shine through you! God bless you!

It is wonderful to remember, as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, that the Gospel frees us from the bonds of sin and empowers us to live a new life in the Spirit. Just as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, our faith in God and our trust in Him are fundamental to our lives and everything we do. As he mentions in his text, the Gospel calls us to bear witness that God has entered our lives and transformed us. May your love and devotion to the Lord inspire others to follow His path of love and redemption. May the hope we find in God continue to strengthen your faith and may His infinite love continue to be manifested in every aspect of your life.
