Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish. (Esther 4:16)
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 18:19)

Praying in community has power

Prayer is more powerful when done with others. Jesus said that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is present in their midst. Praying with others gives encouragement and helps us to fight life's battles together. Don't isolate yourself and abandon the community of faith around you. Join people of faith to more effectively undertake the race of faith. Read more...
