And the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants, I will now show you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we be hungry; therefore are they gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city. (2 Kings 7:12)
And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? (Luke 24:38)

When God gives a Word it will be fulfilled in every way

The story of the liberation of the city and the provision of food in 2 Kings 7 highlights the contrast between those who believe and those who doubt and reject the Word of God. King Joram initially doubts the news of abundant provision, thinking it is a trap by the Syrians. However, when scouts confirm the news, the people sack the Syrian camp, fulfilling the prophetic Word given by Elisha. Even unbelievers fulfill God's Will when He is involved in the matter. This passage speaks to the preparation of the spiritual scenario for a great move of God and a coming harvest of souls in these last times. Read more...
