The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk. (Exodus 23:19)
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33)

Give god first

The story of the widow of Sarepta teaches us the importance of giving to God first. God wants us to enter into the zone of discomfort and give generously, not just money but also time, forgiveness, and grace. By giving first to God, we open ourselves up to His blessings and ensure prosperity for ourselves and our families. Read more...

Luis Alfredo Ramírez Cano: The priorities of our life must be in accordance with the Word. First, our Father; second (if you are married) the spouse; third, the children; fourth, the family (both blood and creed) and fifth: work. When we begin our day, the first thing is to dedicate time to the Lord, to give thanks for the promises, for his blessing, his protection, his kindness and his mercy. Whenever we give to our neighbor, we are giving to the Lord, because we are fulfilling his Word. We should not abandon widows or orphans; we should give from his greatest wealth, teach the Word and sow the gospel. Being faithful to the Father, we will be giving honor and glory to Him. How many have asked for a profession and once achieved with the provision of the Lord have returned this to others? Was the profession only to profit and get out of their economic condition? How much do you sow from your knowledge to help your brothers without interest? Let us give without measure, let us give with a joyful heart.
Hello Luis Alfredo Ramírez Cano! Thank you for sharing your deep and wise reflections! You are touching on key points about the importance of aligning our priorities with the Word of God, starting by dedicating time to the Lord and recognizing His preeminent place in our lives. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, by giving generously both in material resources and in knowledge and love to others, we are fulfilling God's will and sowing blessing in our lives and in the lives of those around us. May you continue to be a light and a blessing to others, generously sharing everything that the Lord has given you. May God continue to guide and strengthen you on your path of faith! 🙏
