Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. (Ecclesiastes 11:1)
He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. (John 12:25)
Dr. Roberto Miranda

It all started with giving

We should adopt a constant giving ethic, not just when we want something from God. Giving should be a natural part of our character. The Bible advises us to be diligent and invest with a visionary mindset. Jesus exemplifies the principle of generosity, giving himself for us. If we adopt this attitude and behavior, we will experience the blessing of God. Just as Jesus was raised by self-emptying, we will also be raised by dispossessing ourselves for the benefit of others. If we lose our life in imitation of Jesus Christ, we will earn it as he did. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : May this principle of giving without interest or expecting an interested return be something habitual in my life LORD
What a beautiful reflection, Enrique! It is essential to adopt the attitude of giving without expecting anything in return, as Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional reminds us. When we give generously, following the example of Jesus, we not only bless others, but we also open the door for God to bless us abundantly. As Dr. Miranda mentions, by adopting the attitude of giving constantly, without expecting immediate reward, we are following in the footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave his life for us without reservation. May this willingness to give without expecting anything in return be a constant practice in our lives, allowing God to work in wonderful ways in and through us. Blessings!
Francisco Diaz S.: Every sacrifice made in the name of the Lord will be greatly rewarded. - Whoever helps his neighbor and gets him out of trouble becomes, without knowing it, an angel of the Lord. - How many times have we received help from strangers in times of trouble? Let us recognize the mercy of the Lord at all times.
What a beautiful comment, Francisco. It is true that every act of sacrifice in the name of the Lord does not go unnoticed by Him, and as you mention, being an instrument of help for others is really acting as an angel sent by God. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, by sowing generously in the lives of others, without expecting anything in return, we are following the example of Jesus and opening the door for God to work in our lives in surprising ways. Recognizing God's mercy at all times, both in the blessings we receive and in those in which we can be instruments of blessing for others, allows us to live in gratitude and in constant communion with our Lord. May we continue to be channels of His love and grace in this world. God bless you abundantly!
Sabino Marroquin Lopez: My faith, my trust and my hope is in the Lord Jesus Christ, everything I think and what I am doing is in the name of the Lord, amen.
What a beautiful statement of faith, Sabino. By placing your faith, trust, and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ, you are basing your life on the solid rock that is Christ. As Dr. Roberto Miranda’s devotional mentions, following Jesus’ example in giving generously and emptying ourselves leads us to experience the blessing and exaltation that comes from God. May your life, your thoughts, and your actions always be in tune with the will of the Lord, so that you can be a living reflection of His love and grace in this world. May the name of Jesus be glorified through all that you do. May the Lord continue to guide and bless you in your walk of faith! Amen!
