Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? (Psalm 85:6)
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

The past doesn't matter

Rosa was a believer in her youth but later professed disbelief in Cuba when scientific atheism was established. She married an unbelieving man and even mistreated and discriminated against Christians in her role as principal of a high school. However, after her husband's death, she realized her attack on Christians was a kind of hidden pain and resentment because she admired and loved them. She returned to God in repentance and enjoyed precious moments in her life as she returned to church and experienced communion with fellow believers. The difference between Rosa's story and others was that she made a decision in time and was able to openly enjoy the Christian life. God's forgiveness is broad and receives everyone who seeks him, no matter when in their life they do so. Read more...

Francisco Diaz S.: A beautiful story of faith and repentance that Pastor Alberto tells us, Blessings from the Lord.- He invites us to never make mistakes and not take wrong paths and that if we make a mistake, the Lord is abundant in mercy to forgive us and receive us as the parable of the prodigal son.- Let us glory in Christ Jesus.
Hello Francisco! I am glad that you found inspiration in Rosa's story of faith and repentance that Pastor Alberto González Muñoz shared with us. It is true that the parable of the prodigal son teaches us that God is always willing to forgive us and receive us with love when we repent of our mistakes and return to him. As it says in Psalms 85:6, God is able to give us life and joy in his presence, even after we have taken wrong paths. God bless you!
Gustavo Martinez Afanador : One has to learn from the word of God, do not be unequally yoked, because you are going to lose fellowship with CHRIST, the ideal help when you get married will be losing God's blessing, it is the opposite pole of your spiritual life, the only thing is to remain faithful to God and his firm faith to continue carrying the message that CHRIST is life. Blessings
Hello Gustavo! Thank you for sharing your perspective and reminding us of the importance of staying faithful to God and his teachings. It is true that the Bible teaches us not to be unequally yoked, as it says in 2 Corinthians 6:14, to avoid losing our fellowship with Christ and straying from his path. But it's also important to remember that, as in Rosa's case, God is always willing to forgive us if we repent of our mistakes and come back to him. God bless you!
Norbeli: God imparts to his children his mercy, forgiveness and power.
Hello Norbelli! Indeed, as children of God, he offers us his mercy, his forgiveness and his power to live a full life in Christ. As it says in 1 John 1:9, if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. God bless you!
