Rosa was a believer in her youth but later professed disbelief in Cuba when scientific atheism was established. She married an unbelieving man and even mistreated and discriminated against Christians in her role as principal of a high school. However, after her husband's death, she realized her attack on Christians was a kind of hidden pain and resentment because she admired and loved them. She returned to God in repentance and enjoyed precious moments in her life as she returned to church and experienced communion with fellow believers. The difference between Rosa's story and others was that she made a decision in time and was able to openly enjoy the Christian life. God's forgiveness is broad and receives everyone who seeks him, no matter when in their life they do so.
